Big Daddy's Burgers, South Lake Tahoe CA

Looking for burgers found this place where the burgers won't brake your wallet and food was worth it.

Double Cheeseburger was delicious. Team member I interacted with was very courteous. My "to go" order came out fast.

Burger was hot and well cooked. Would have liked a thicker patty. The French fries were the best thing on the menu! The place is in need of an update. Plenty of parking. Would have given 4 stars for the food if a bit more attention was paid to the burger. The counter person was friendly and courteous.
Overall the place is ok. I'd eat here again in a pinch.

Old school burger joint with a small menu that does everything right. Fun to hang around in too.

The hamburgers were very good, more like diner burgers which I like. The fries were okay. If you're wanting a good hamburger this would be a good spot for a quick bite.

Very respectful a timely manner and had a decent size parking lot. I would recommend this place to anybody that loves cheeseburgers. The food was really good.

Overpriced, chili taste like hormel not very good. Burger was ok but not for the price.

The build looks a bit run down but dont judge a book by its cover. Great food great service, friendly environment.

Service was fast. Clerk waz careful/patient with the many orders. Burgers were tasty and filling. Thw Mexicano Dog was awesome and a lil artisan. But they loaded hella fries and condements were self serve. Mom n pops joint are always unique, place was bright and interesting.

I had never thrown food away until the day I got a burger from Big Daddys.

I don't like to waste food, plus I paid $8 for it l, but I was not going to finish that. The patty was super plain and flavorless and was still pink. Affordable fries are alright.
Everything else was mediocre.

On top of that, everyone I dined with had their food brought out to them, but I had to go in and get mine. I had already tipped, too! Never going back.

Cheap burgers with adequate taste. Nothing special, but good enough that we bought second after eating the first.

I'd add that they are better than the ones in some very popular fast food chains.

This place was excellent for a quick and easy dinner. The line was out the door but we still got our food in minutes. The cheeseburger was great and I loved the chicken strips with fries! My husband got a hot dog and a cheeseburger and housed them both quickly!

You get what you pay for here. Cheap burgers. If you don’t have tastebuds, it’s good for you. Burger was fresh but had no flavor. Fries are average. As for the service, it was fine; the employees were polite and food came out fast.

Phenomenal burgers and an incredible staff! They were very patient and got our order 100% correct even though it was complex.

Monday, 5/29/2023 - We decided to try Big Daddy's Burger on our way home. Address is 3490 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Restaurant is roughly like 700sq feet. When we arrived, there wasn't much people eating in there, so we got to pick the table of our choice. Upon arrival:

Pros
1) they have their own parking. Lots of parking spots.
2) I saw an old Galaga game in there, but it's turned off.: (
3) right when you walk in, the counter is to your left. You order from there. Menu is posted behind cashier. Nice and large.
4) our cashier was nice. He could have smiled a little more. But he was still professional.
5) we all liked their burgers. It was like any other burgers. Lol. It was very good.
6) they have all their condiments, plastic utensils, napkins, etc on the counter to the side. Easily accessible. I like that.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) bathroom was clean.
9) they do have seating outside.

Cons

Conclusion
We all liked this little spot. Not too bad. Burgers were good. Fries were good. Tables and chairs were clean. Bathroom clean. We only met the cashier. He's also cleans the tables. He was nice. Lots of parking.
