Big League Dreams Manteca reviews
16 This place makes a ton of $$ & yet the fields look terrible! Bathrooms are disgusting. They only offer greasy foods to feed our athletes and don't allow outside food for healthier options. I have a friend who is vegan, and they would not allow her to bring in her own food.yet they offer no vegan options at the snack bar.
They have a ridiculous policy of no outside coffee after 11 am. UNLESS you have it in a personal container.then you can bring it in
Been playing at manteca bld for 10 years now had zero problems with staff but jus recently the new staff were very rude unprofessional an racist while trying to get some batting practice in on a day it’s open fields to do so when I was just there two days prior with no problems now two days later they wanted say we couldn’t an it’s been a rule since 2020 but that’s a lie people were on the fields practicing but because we have colored skin with tattoos we couldn’t an even tried to say it was going to cost us a feee of $100 per person so right there shows me all this was because they were being racist and now they suspended me from the team I pay money to play on two games just because we still practiced an wasn’t bothering nobody even the cops were called an they talked to us an said I don’t see no problem I don’t know why they called us here an they jus told us to go talk yo them again an they left so again the staff an management is TERRIBLE starting with Justin the GM so disrespectful to people who bring business to this establishment
Fields need to be upgraded, but there's a lot of shade for spectators and in the parking lot. Food area is top notch.
Absolutely loved this place! We went here for our daughter’s tournament recently and stayed nearby, and just loved the vibrant chatter, lovely kind families, the friendly staff, the bars, and delish fresh food with plenty of choices for kids! The stadiums were awesome! Really big dreams. A wonderful memorable day at the ballgame. Thank you!
Pretzels were hard and dry, had just been baked fresh so they said. Food restaurants were very unorganized! Disappointed in the ball fields, they were run down. In need of refresh paint would help and remove paper murals that were just hanging off wall and others so faded it was pathetic!
They keep raising the entrance fee, and now the batting cage token is 2.00 each. Then, the playground for the kids to play is not open. Getting ridiculous!
I was at Big League thos weekend and wanted you to know that yoyr employee isaiah in your food booth was so patient and kind with my husband and I. He was a sweetie pie helping us.
A pleasant experience, my husband is elderly. Thank you!
For the amount of money this place must make, it’s a dump. It’s not taken care of at all. Peeling paint, rotting wood, dirty snack bar and bathrooms. * I appreciate the response. I’m actually sitting here now and nothing looks renovated except the playground which is still “in progress”. I saw a reply to a review 11 months ago that stated renovations were in progress.
I walked the entire complex. It looks the same as it has looked over the last few years.
Go take a ride over to Mistlin. That complex is immaculate.
Dawn the manager is amazing! Food was awesome and ready in a timely manner but Dawn's services ad a manager and bartender made the night. She was friendly and perfect with her customer service! She truly is the standard for every restaurant and bar to follow!
Great family environment but some of the fields could use some TLC. I will be visiting again
I was for a softbowl tournament on May 5 and arrival at the place is adequate with a large parking lot to park, they charge $8 dollars for the use of the facility, there are 6 fields with different themes of LMB baseball stadiums, inside There are batting practice boxes as well as children's games (they were only closed at the moment) and inside the place you also find 2 sports bars with a variety of snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as game machines.
Fields need to be redone. A Lot of patched jobs on the in fields. For a venue that has lots of tournaments and a lot of revenue comes in with this tournaments shouldn't look the way it does.
Always a great time watching grandaughter's game. Has gone up to $5 for entry but they still give you a token to use at thr snack bars.
I've been going here for years and surprisingly this place hasn't changed much besides upkeeping the turf and fields and raising the entry fee. They recently banned Outdoor Cleats in the Indoor Soccer Stadium. I understand because of the turf but I've always played here with cleats and that's what's kept me playing here. Of course I'll still play with indoor shoes but it doesn't make a difference with the turf still being worn down by using indoor cleats. So just a personal preference. The prices to pay to play aren't that bad but the entry fee is what adds up.
They have really nice fields here I'd like to WA' it set up I had one nephew at 1 filled and the other 1 of the other filled that was pretty cool this place is really nice
Outfield grass is pretty nice, but the infield turf really needs some smoothing out. Also the "fans" in the stands are in really bad shape. There is helpful service but you can't bring much food or drink in and your bags get checked. And you have to pay a pretty penny to get in.
