Extremely fun and community-type of campground with lots of local Big Sur outdoors attractions close by. The only thing I can complain about is the wi-fi only being available in one area. But, we're here to disconnect and enjoy nature so it's not much of an issue unless you're expecting big news/ emergencies Go camp here, bring a few friends/ family and enjoy a few days of the beautiful animals, river, beaches, hikes and make some fun memories.

We stayed for our wedding anniversary Sept 18-20. Staffs were so friendly. Place was easy to locate. Location is near to restaurants. Cabin was super clean and cozy. They provided a lot of towels too. They even gave us cute mugs as a souvenir. Coffee in the morning was free! Ice was free too! The smell of the woods was breathtaking. Just wished there is a restaurant inside. Definitely will go back.

This place holds a special place in my heart as I came here many times as a kid. But I'm happy to report 20 years later it's just as great. The camp itself is small, but the sites are spacious and every site is beautifully shaded by old growth redwoods. This time we booked an A Frame cabin, but they offer tent and RV sites as well.

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. Well appointed with a kitchen, wood burning stove and three comfy beds.

The campground offers playground, basketball courts, laundry, innertubes for rent and free coffee/coco every morning.

We will be back soon!

We got unlucky and had a very aggressive neighbor at the campsite next to us. He threatened me and our dogs safety. The campsites are beautiful but very close together and they did not communicate that dogs need to be on a leash at all times. Our extremely friendly labs tried to say hi to our neighbor and he yelled at them very aggressively and then complained to management instead of letting me know his discomfort level so I could adjust accordingly. The campsite does not allow for wide open spaces or a natural freedom that I would expect when camping it’s more like a stuffy resort with lots of rules so if that’s what you would like then this would be good. When our neighbor threatened that he would hurt the dogs if they bark at 630 am or come over to his campsite again I let management know. I so much appreciate them offering to move us to another site or a refund. Our young children were very sad but we decided to leave since we didn’t feel safe. I hope that the staff with make sure the aggressive guy doesn’t hurt anyone else at the campsite. I will never come here again!

Don't cut trees unnecessarily & leave them on roadside, they too have Life & Soul, this one literally has Big Heart to make others smile

I don't understand how this place has so many good reviews. We paid $155 per night for the worst campsite I've ever camped at. No exaggeration. Yes, the place does have a playground, basketball court, warm showers, river access and "free" tubbing. But each site is on top of the other. Maybe if you've never camped before and you're not sure whether it's for you or not, this may be an okay option. Otherwise, I would avoid like the plague.

First time at this campground. Very nice place. Restrooms are well kept and the showers as well. Campsites are fairly sized. I recommend this campground.

Love this place! Perfect for the Kids, and adults. Playground, lazy river, with 2 natural made pools for swimming. The cleanest restrooms you will find. They offer free ice and coffee to the residence. Second time going and I cant wait to go back.

Fun river location with lots of games and an old playground and basketball court. Really allows your kids to run around and explore.

They have necessities if you forget an essential but best to pack most everything you need.

Probably the nicest campground I've ever stayed at. Facilities are super clean, showers are included, so no darn quarters! Yeah! The river that runs thru the campground is just gorgeous. Not cheap but a very nice place to camp.

We just returned from a wonderful trip in Big Sur and stayed here. We rented a cabin and an RV site. The campground amenities where fantastic and the cabin beds were dreamy. My kids loved rafting on the river (rafts are provided at no cost to guests). The place is super clean and very family friendly. The staff is overly helpful and accommodating. We left two bags of dirty laundry by mistake and Max helped us locate them and mailed them back to our home in San Diego at NO COST. By the time we got home they had already been delivered. I can't say enough positive things about this place and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you for making our summer vacation amazing!

I don't know anything about the cabins but I know the camping was $110 for a campsite

Wonderful campgrounds nestled in redwoods. Bit crowded, but great amenities in bathrooms and showers. Nearby places to visit in Big Sur are stunning.

Wonderful campsite in a great location. Easy access to hiking trails and a direct connection to the Big Sur River. Unfortunately we were only there for 3 days. Next time we'll stay longer.

First camping experience and it was an absolute delight. Super clean campground and extremely clean bathrooms. Waking up and being surrounded by redwood trees it something everyone should do once in their lives. Can’t wait to do it again.
