BEWARE! These people are crooks. I was moving out of my storage unit and rented a forklift for 1 day at $595.00. The forklift died halfway through the move. I called, emailed (Bigrentz they didn't reply for 3 days) and texted the delivery driver. He text back they aren't picking up the forklift "it wasn't scheduled for pickup"also I would NOT be charged for any extra days. THAT WAS A LIE! They charged my credit card $1420.00 for the 1 day rental
They didn't schedule my correct pickup time. Telling me I requested the extension.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. USE A LOCAL EQUIPMENT RENTAL COMPANY!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Big Rentz. I decided to rent a scissor lift from them for a crucial project in Frisco, CO, with a duration of just one day. To ensure everything went smoothly, I traveled all the way from Florida to Denver to carry out the work. Unfortunately, my plans were thrown into chaos as I received an email on the day of the rental, stating that they were unable to provide me with the equipment as originally promised and paid for.

This unexpected turn of events left me in a state of panic and frustration, realizing that I was now in Frisco without the necessary equipment, just a few hours before I was expected to be on-site. It's important to note that this project involved our company's most significant client, and Big Rentz's failure to deliver has resulted in us appearing ill-prepared and unprofessional in front of our client. This is an outcome we cannot accept.

Judging by the numerous other reviews I have come across, it appears that my unfortunate experience with Big Rentz is not an isolated incident. It is disheartening to see that similar situations have befallen other customers as well. It is evident that this company has a recurring issue with fulfilling their promises and delivering the rented equipment as scheduled. Such a pattern of unreliability is concerning and raises serious doubts about their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Given the magnitude of this incident and the negative impact it had on our reputation, we cannot afford to put ourselves at risk again by relying on Big Rentz. We have made the decision to never engage their services in the future.

I struggled with big rents right from the start. I ordered a small skidsteer and then was informed they only had one a size up and the cost would be 1000$ more. I paid them and when they delivered skidsteer they sent me the small one. Then I had to spend hours contacting them and coordinating to get the right skidsteer I paid for. They came 3 days later and still charged me the same for the middle size skidsteer. Then I asked for a proration of 300$ because that was the cost I was paying. All they could do is take 165$ off of the pick up. All in all poor service, hard to reach the right person, and I felt they actually weren’t trying to me my needs. Wont go through them again.

Been trying to Rent a Fork Lift for over a week. They kept ignoring my calls and not responding back and today a MGR get's on the phone and increases the price by over 30% with the reason that it is last minute order. It did not have to be a last minute. Been pushing for a week. Is this something systematic to overcharge customers?

Rented equipment that was canceled after I paid the day before the job. I'm trying to get my refund now so we can rent through another company on Monday and was told it would take 2-5 buisness days. They sold me equipment they didn't actually have here in Oklahoma. False advertisement! Why take my money before you even had the equipment? I'll update this once it's resolved. But I 100% do not recommend this company.

I called Big Rentz for a quote. A boom lift for an entire month (a big sale) and had a very rude salesperson who hung up on me because I wouldn't give her my last name (the quote is for my job, not me personally). She had my company name, but told me that since I refused to "cooperate", she wouldn't help me. I called several other rental companies who were more than willing to help me without ANY name. Update: I read through some of the other reviews and I definitely dodged a bullet with this company.

Horrible service, quoted one price and then called to say it would be a lot more (+$400). Rep just argued with me on the phone the whole time. Steer clear! They make it seem like they are local to the area you search. Seems like a lot of people have the same issue I had.

This company does NOT own equipment. They just re-rent from other legit rental companies and mark up their prices to you.

I purchased from United Rentals 30% cheaper and they do not charge extra for fuel costs. Big Rentz is a big scam. I will never use them ever again.

We booked a Scissor lift with Big Rentz, delivery was supposed to happen between 8-9am, didn't arrive by 11am, we cancelled the order. I wouldn't work with them again.

CHICAGO, IL General Contractors, Business owners and Construction Co. DO NOT RENT FROM BigRentz… These people are the worst and the services is horrible. I have never, in
my 30 years in business experienced service a bad as this. I order a 40 ft scissor lift three days before is was needed. They called me the morning of, 30 min before their guarantee delivery time to tell me they have to reschedule my delivery to the next day with NO reasonable explanation. I had four people on the clock waiting @ 7am with no equipment. I called, spoke with a manager with an accent they may communication impossible. Finally by the end of the phone call, I was promised I would have the lift by 2pm, I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. Shout out to RENTALMAX, locally owned and operated and Illinois top rental equipment company who came through and helped us out with the equipment we needed. They deliver and they have several locations. CHICAGO, IL and the State of Illinois business owners, RENTALMAX is the only rental company we should be renting from.

Horrible middle man service. They will change the price on you after the contract has been signed and paid for in full……. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
