Bill Cleator Community Park reviews
9Small park but good to stop at for a little break? ️ There was just a couple of people playing a game or playing with their dog at the park. Relatively chill and quiet. You feel covered by the trees with a few shade areas. There's little seating options here so I wouldn't recommend it for large gatherings.
My kid played baseball in this park. It was a common looking park but conveniently placed next to the freeway. I removed one star for its lack of parking. It gets packed when parents are there to watch their kids as well.
Great park, no homeless and weirdos
around like the old days. Grandson plays T-Ball on Sundays there. Great place to have a family picnic
The park is mainly used for baseball, Peninsula Little League. It's hard to grow proper grass here and the infields are dirt. That being said a lot of baseball is still played here with a lot of good players and parents. I have been coaching here for several years and find the experience quite enjoyable. There is also a children's playground here that is used quite often, people picnic and lots of dog walkers.
Great little league ball field. Parking lot isn't nearly large enough. Give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.
Good baseball fields
park for all
Yes dogs too"
Ymca could update the indoor field. But it works for now
Great location, decent fields, though tufts and holes in the field present a challenge for soccer. Nice playground and decent bathroom.
Nice park. A lot of people do not pick up after their dogs so watch for poop on the grassy areas.
A decent park that is sketchy/dark at night.
Pro: you can legally drink alcohol in this park during select hours, per San Diego law.
Con: there seems to be constant soccer practice or little league here, which puts a damper on the drinking mood.
Bonus: the homeless like to overnight here. Don't bug them, they have nowhere else to go.
