Bill Lee's Bamboo Chopsticks Restaurant reviews
16Eating is wonderful especially when we get our favorite, Shannon, and the food is very good. Today I ordered for delivery, due to just having surgery. The young women in your call center are short and rude, if I was able to get up and cook I would have canceled the order!
This was a nice place but the food was not good. I like Chinese food, but i guess there is a difference with Cantonese food.
Had the special, it's like a combo of Chinese food served for 2 is less $ than individual plates.
Usually very attentive waiter. This day, 9/13 didn't see waiter till after dinner for check.
Oh well 19 for 20 isn't bad for good service. I've always have very good drinks and great food. Maybe our waiter was busy in the bar. It was just after 5: 00pm. They always serve a great Mi-Tie. Always great food.
Just left and i couldnt wait to review. Food was not as great as the reviews. We are not picky eaters so we ate it anyway. As i ate i washed down with soda/water. Didn't taste any different than rice bowl. Food was a bit salty, but not too bad. My sons shrimp fried rice tasted burnt. Spent $110 for 5 people (2adult/3kids). The people around us were loud. I loved the wood carving decor. Service was good. Overall wont be back.
I ordered to go the number 2 combo and it was nothing short of amazing. Billy's always comes thru never fails. The shrimp was crispy and succulent, the pork fried rice was delicious, spare ribs were great!
Been coming to Bill Lee's since like 1989 at least every other sunday after church its great food and people are so friendly and nice!
Food was so bland. Ordered the chow mein chicken and chicken was unseasoned and noodles as well. Partner ordered the wonton soup and it had no flavor just a bowl of oil.
The waitress is awesome however the food has gone down hill. Not sure if it's even chicken tasted more like turkey. And tough to chew. Very poor quality of food
This restaurant was a place I would dine at several times. I ordered my usual combination fried rice. Spareribs broccoli and beef. Got regular rice and Brocoli. Got it delivered. Called restaurant no answer and I was charged 51.00 for small regular rice 3 Spareribs broccoli and beef. I called to complain about what happen. They were rude said I got exactly what I ordered. Not true. I always order the same thing. I will never go there again. It was unprofessional and it's not a place to dine if you want good service and a delicious meal. It's a shame. Out dated the food poor quality and in a bad area. The parking is made for a few cars. It's overpriced. It sucks
Bill Lees delivers, when I received my food it was just as warm and good, as it is when eating there.
Ate in the bar, food was alright. Not worth another visit. Though I plan on hitting happy hour at the bar soon
Used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant in Bakersfield. However over the course of the last several years the food has become so bland that it almost inedible. When something has hot peppers beside it itbis supposed to be at least warm, not fit for my 8 years old grandchild. Will definitely be finding another Chinese restaurant. Might be back to the bar as the drinks are fab.
I don't know if it was the color of my skin.but we sat for 20mins without any acknowledgement, except for the dishwasher that brought us water.at first we thought maybe they're just to busy; But then a couple came in and they served their order asap. Very disappointed!
Good Chinese food, great orange chicken and potstickers. A little pricy now, and the great lunch specials are gone.
The Beef Chow Mein is the best I have ever eaten (delicious). The servings are better compared to other restaurants.
They seated us with a large group of very loud people. Mind you the youngest of our group was 65 the oldest 90.
