Bill's Cafe - Bascom

Very delicious brunch spot. If I had to be picky about something was my dish had no mention of spicyness.

I just received a breakfast delivery via Grubhub, and whoever did that understands me. Over-easy eggs packaged with wonderful hash-browns, and I like to spread the yolks over the potatoes. Country-fried steak packaged with a biscuit, so that it's easy to spread the gravy on the biscuit. All excellent.

The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon and link sausage. It was good. The staff was always filling my coffee with a big smile. I liked the place. The booth I sat in had a really bad bench. May need some work. But other than that no other complaints.

They have a wide selection of your American breakfast and brunch fare. Service is quick and plenty of both inside & outside seating is available

The food was ok, and the service was disappointing.

Service: we didn't receive any water until we were halfway through the meal and so thirsty that we had to order two glasses ourselves. The juices we ordered never arrived, and we had to have them removed from the bill. Unfortunately, no one apologized for the missing water and juices.

I don't want to speculate that the server treated us poorly because we're Asian, but I did notice that others were promptly served water with waiters offering refills, while our table was consistently overlooked, leaving us without water. These are minor issues, but they left me feeling somewhat disappointed.

Environment: for some reason, the indoor temperature was higher than outside, and the air conditioning seemed ineffective, making us sweat while eating.

Overall, personally this is not a good brunch place that can set me up for a great day.

Love the food, very generous portions and fresh ingredients. Great spot to get everything you love in an American breakfast. Parking lot is not that big and it gets very busy on weekends or holidays.

Delicious California mini omelette with generous portion of avocado and sour cream, potatoes accompany it and sourdough toast

Not a long wait on a weekend morning. However, we felt the omlette was bland. I would have them to be more flavorful.

We ordered Mexicano, California and Garden omelette and they were okay. I won’t visit the place next time as food was not that great.

Wow! Our crew searched for a local breakfast spot and found Bill’s cafe. Not only were we seated promptly, but the server brought the drink order out amazingly quickly.

Once we decided what we wanted to order it was also another very short wait (not sure how they do it!)

And the food! Wow the speedy service did not reduce the quality or taste! I tried the MexiCali Benedict with hashbrowns. Wow! Amazing. Everyone else at the table also really enjoyed their meals (Salmon Benedict and eggs and corn beef hash)

I will definitely come back here in the future. We all really enjoyed it!

During the weekends the wait is long but the wait is worth it. The food is delicious and comes out fast. The waitresses are attentive to your coffee and water levels and fill you up if needed without you having to call them. Excellent service! I hope to come back this weekend!

Great portions and fair pricing. Went on a rather busy morning and even then the wait time was not bad. Servers are on top of checking on the tables, it's just a little crowded but what can you do when a place is this popular?

I went with Bill's Original Skillet and a side of biscuits and gravy, even with myself being a large guy, I was stuffed with no more room. Worth a return trip.
