Biltmore Los Angeles reviews
11This place has so much history. It is the dream of any movie fan to walk through the doors the Ghostbusters used and enter the lobby where they captured Slimer and then to wander the Rendezvous Room, where Eddie Murphy checked-in in "Beverly Hills Cop. " To take a dip in the pool where Reese Witherspoon was seduced by Ryan Phillipe in "Cruel Intentions, " in the fitness center where Warren Beaty's "Bugsy" met with Harvey Keitel. To attend a wedding in the Gold Ballroom, where Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson were "Wedding Crashers" or in the Silver Ballroom, where the Academy Awards were born and took its first steps. To walk the limo ramp that doubled as the outside of The Brown Derby in "Chinatown. " And to wander the halls where Elizabeth Short - The Black Dahlia - was last seen alive. It's a real treat and one I do not take for granted.
It's loads of fun, and I believe it's best for travelers. On account of its nearness to the city, the inn's area is beneficial. It's a wonderful sentence. This was a rare chance. I was delighted at the possibility of investing more energy with my friends and family.
Halloween is our Wedding Anniversary. Every year we look for that special place to celebrate our "Honeymoon. " Last year we got a corner room, that had an attached room, where the people partied all night, yelling and smoking cigarettes! April, who was in management then, told us as an incentive that if we return that we would get a great deal and she would write notes on our account. Low and behold I paid even more that expected, plus after I was told one figure and checked in, I got a text about a $25 facility fee for everyday I was there, even after I was told I would be paying a total that was much less! I guess we are going to have to search for that Special Hotel that is out there somewhere, in order to celebrate our Honeymoon that is Perfect!
Very beautiful hotel. The staff was attentive, informative, & friendly. Room was very comfortable. Parking is a little bit of a process. Be prepared to pay a $45 parking fee to park overnight. Overall great experience at the hotel.
Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable of the Hotel's rich history and they are extremely accommodating. The hotel is magnificent. I explored the building until about 4 am, making my way from the upper floors, to the fire escapes, down the spiraling staircases and eventually into the lower levels including the maintenance corridors. Very eerie but so awesome!
People have different preferences so some people do find the place amazing. However I wouldn’t stay here for my next trip to LA.
Right after we checked in, we found the water leak in the bathroom. And the customer support after I reported the leak wasn’t pleasant at all.
We booked a night at the Millennium Biltmore while on a work/leisure trip to LA. We needed a night to ourselves and a good night sleep after a long week of working late nights. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the whole room and hotel felt comfortably luxurious.
I enjoy my stay here! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and the rooms well done and comfortable. The hotel is close to all downtown if you are a fan of baseball it’s right next door. In all of my business and pleasure trips, this is my favorite hotel. I always look forward to a return visit and recommend them to all of my colleagues.
Poor customer service! Our room was never cleaned or towels changed or trash taking out! Front desk gave no attenton to customers needs!
Very dirty rooms. Smells like a motel 6. Room smell like cigarettes. Front door person spanish person with the glasses was rude so experience when arriving was horrible. Also looks like this rent out monthly room which explains why the hotel smells like cigarettes.
