Birch Hills Golf Course reviews
19Fun little course. Greens are fast and pretty true for an executive course. $24 18 holes with a cart. Might have been weekday twilight. Call ahead. Will go again for sure.
Good short but challenging course.
The check-in/till guy at 10.30am on Saturday 11th Feb was petty, rude and officious. He needs to be removed! Birch Hills deserves better.
But we had a great round. Thanks.
The customer service is lacking, the course closes early all the time, the kitchen closes way to early, is always out of items and they got rid of band night. It feels like the employees are miserable there and it's not managed well. It would do well to have a complete overhaul of management and properly trained employees and a huge uptake on customer service and community needs.
Yes, every time I go! Even when we ride the Brea tracks, we stop by the Treehouse! Best lunch! Superb onion rings!
This is a great little course that has been perfect for our family members that are new to golf. Many great times at BH's. My complaint is with the people that play there. They don't rake the sand traps and don't fix there ball marks on the greens. The course is perfect for beginner and senior golfers. The people that disrespect the course and the other golfers should stay home.
The course is great. Staff extremely friendly. Holes have changed but like the new layout.
Had a great time golfing. Greens could use a little tender care most greens had a lot of divots hard to putt when you have divot in front of you. Other than that it was fun
Really bad service at the golf range shop. Two times this week they stop selling balls before 830pm. The workers didn’t want to work. Please change the times on your website. Customers will appreciate that
Great little course. Well maintained. Everyone is friendly and not pretentious like some other places. They know me in the shop by name now. Great discounts if you become a "Member" for only $99 a year. Well worth it.
My wife and I played Birch the afternoon of August 10th. Starter Lee was very welcoming and friendly and sent us off as a twosome which my wife appreciated very much. We waited on almost every hole but finished the round in a little over three hours. Not too bad.
The first time I've played Birch Hills. The course and greens were in terrible shape. Seems very few players fix their pitch marks. The mats on the driving range are totally worn out. Staff was friendly.
First time there, I say it was a great experience.the online booking was and checking in was real easy. The guys working the desk and the golf carts were super friendly. Had a great time chatting with them.
The course was well maintained, though the greens had A LOT of divots. But that didn't really impact my actual score. Overall, I'd recommend this course.
Fast play. Fun layout. Great place to work on the short game. Greens weren't in the best shape otherwise it would be 5 stars. Staff was great and friendly. We'll be back for sure.
This was my second time golfing and it was a great experience. Each hole is relatively short in distance and is perfect to get used to the greens.
The only complaint I had is that it seemed back up and we teed off 10 mins late. However, everyone was super understanding and courteous of time.
The greens also weren’t in the best condition, so this is more like a 3.5 review. Would definitely return, but maybe another day and time.
Played this after quite a few months, courses in good shape, greens are great it’s always a pleasure to play
Here nice and easy small course
Clubhouse is clean and unpretentious, and the food is very good. Golf course is in good shape, but a lot of the holes are a similar distance. Nice, large driving range that is lit at night. Sand is often watered down and crusty
The greens are in really bad shape but, otherwise, this is a great little course that is fun to play. My only other knock is that they used to have a lot of great beers on tap in the restaurant but, for some reason, they got rid of them.
This is a well designed executive golf course. Great practice for your short game. Greens had just been aerated so they were super slow and uneven but I won't hold it against them.
