Bistro du Marché by Tapenade reviews
8Always wonderful food and excellent wine menu! Just had dinner here again last night for the first time since Covid wrecked havoc on everyone's lives. It was a Thursday night and it was popping! Almost no empty tables and the service and food were spot on! Love to see local businesses killing it!
So perfectly french! Branzino is excellent and the roast chicken is sublime. Also the crab and mango starter!
We had a wonderful dinner with our friends. The new Cheffe Amélie is very talented and sent us very nice amuse bouche. The boss boys are very professional and always there to make your dinner special. The owner came to say hello and was very kind. The atmosphere reminded us of a typical Parisien brasserie/bistro, lively and warm. We highly recommend this restaurant.
A Favorite restaurant. Its a first class dining experience that feels inviting, special. Exquisite food and its an unrushed experience, they treat you like you were family. I mentioned at the reservation that it was our anniversary and without askingwe had the best, most intimate table in the place waiting upon our arrival. And on the dessert plate written in Chocolate 'Happy Anniversary' my wife felt special. Its a special place.
Food prepared to perfection. Server was a bit overworked, but staff helped each other. Escargot impeccable. Mushroom Ravioli to die for. Steak Frites as Gaul dreams of. Great wine selection, well priced. Sorry to say it was not the best Creme Brulee ever, but it was damn good.
Nice outdoor setting, the street could be busy during day time.service was excellent.quality of cocktails i.e old fashioned and martini was average.we ordered branzino fish and wagu beef.both dishes were average to just o.k. Desert was milange and was good.all in all i will not go back and would rather go to nine ten restaurant in la jolla
Amazing little gem in La Jolla. Super fast service. The octopus was superb! Will be coming back.
