American Restaurant Bix reviews
17Great atmosphere and cocktails but wagu steaks were disappointing and shrimp cocktail was poor, just 4 shrimps with tomato ketchup
Birthday request ignored: table for six on the floor was offered to 3 people, even though we got there 45 minutes before the reservation time and the table was free when they were ready for us and remained avaliable for a while. Instead, we were sent to the last table on the top floor, away from everything; by the service door. The server was great!
Wow! What an experience! Their live music is their forte! I had a beautiful time there. I did not like the whiskey but that was my choice. I’m sure they have other great drinks. Totally recommend!
It was a busy Friday night. The music was great, so was the service. Top notch. The cocktails and the food was not as good as my previous visits though. We ordered some appetizers and different cocktails, they were all pretty underwhelming.
I wouldn't want to choose which was best between the ambiance, service, food or drink at this venue. All were superb at a space that feels classy and comforting in equal amount.
They really give you a dining experience down to every detail. Coming and changing my silverware right on time. Food was amazing. A simple menu to making picking easy. Lots of drink options and people were playing music right in the restaurant. I can't wait to go back. I wanted to feel spoiled and this made me feel just that.
Loved the food, the ambience and the service. The lobster spaghetti and the trout were delicious. Found the deviled eggs okay. But overall a great place with a fun jazz band.
Amazing place for special dinner party (7). Service is extraordinary and the music is magical.
I had dinner here with a couple of friends. I loved the "classic establishment vibe", even if it was pretty crowded and noisy. Food was good. I was surprised on the negative side by the service: it was a bit rushed and I found the lady at the entrance quite not welcoming at all.
Great food. The live band was amazing. We had a great time their. Arrive early even with reservations on a busy night.
Gorgeous interior. Amazing service - very attentive waiters and servers. Delicious and very tasty food. I had the lobster spaghetti and my husband had the halibut. There is live music - a pianist on a grand piano.
Overall a delightful experience.
My friend and I sat at the bar, which was energetic and fun to observe all the happenings. Our bartender was Moises, who was lovely and kind. He helped us choose delicious wines and entrees.
Since we were near the piano, we watched Mike, the pianist and even asked him to play an old favorite, to which he obliged.
A perfect restaurant seated in a secret alley!
Service was great and food was delicious. We made reservations and let them know that I was trying to make a show near by and they were very attentive and made sure our food got to us quickly! Thank you!
Really good vibe, excellent live music and good food and service. Cocktails were not good.
I was recommended to go to this restaurant I wasn't impressed with the food. The drinks 5 stars.
Old school steakhouse with the forgotten art of the amuse-bouche! Nice touch!
I had Ceasar salad (perfect citrus, not over done with anchovies) and duck. Both delicious! Short menu, but everything you need. I'll be back!
We came with a large group of 17 people. The staff was polite, attentive, and just amazing to us. To top it off the food and drinks were amazing. The whole experience was amazing!
