MJ is the most amazing server EVER! She always has a positive attitude. She is the most kind person I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. The food is always great here. 10/10 I will definitely be back again!

We eat here on a regular basis because of the food and the service is so good at the crack of dawn. We love our server Mary Jo.

Love the food here but mary jo goes above and beyond and always takes great care of me and always fills my coffee! Love this place and i love her even more!

This has to be the worst black bear diner I've ever eaten. I'm from Salinas, California, and that was the best one of course but I cannot believe this horrible restaurant. The food was disgusting. I've tried to eat there 6 times and every time it's been horrible service and it doesn't matter what time you go in. And also I couldn't believe this. I got a prime rib the last time made me sick to my stomach. All the guy did he actually slattered it and butter Friday on one side? And that's how he served it cold and greasy it was so gross.

Great diner! Server was handling everything from hosting to being a cashier.poor thing! She was handling everyone with utmost care and attention. Amazing service! Please make sure to tip the waitress well if they do a great job! Not only at this place but everywhere you go. It's not an easy job!

Black Bear is always good food and this one did not disappoint. Plenty of food even for the "Little bit less" options. Service was great.

We took mom out for breakfast. We all ate about half our food, as the portions were huge. Very good food.

Show up at 7: 00a on a Saturday. Only two people in the restaurant. Each of us ordered a waffle, then saw no one for 20 minutes. When we finally got the attention of the waitress was told that there was a problem with the waffle iron. When the food finally came out, staggered, one waffle was undercooked and mine was burnt on the outside but undone inside. Left at 8: 00a, still the only customers. We now know why.

Came early for a Sunday breakfast- super early! Everything was great.the server MJ was very personable and quick! The food was amazing! Definitely coming back:)

I was greeted warmly, I felt comfortable. I am a chef I appreciate good food. Wait staff is important. Was meeting a friend, her food was so awesome she took a picture of it. MJ I wanted to take her home, she's a hoot. Started our day off perfect.

I am so very impressed with the food and service.
I ordered a burger via postmates. The wrong burger was delivered. The manager apologized made the correct burger and DELIVERED it to me. 10/10

Food is good here, Meals are on the expensive side. Parking hasn't been an issue luckily. This place reminds me of a 70's diner with cabin style.

Our server (dark hair, glasses, slender, very energetic) has been friendly each time we've visited (yes, same server each time), consistently checking on us to see if we needed anything. Good experience here, other than overall cost.
