Black Bear Diner Tulare reviews
18Food was good. They have a veggie burger available for vegetarians and vegans! They use Dr. Praeger Patties. They also have cold brew coffee available, I love when restaurants offer iced/cold brew coffees. Service was good, staff was nice.
Place is always packed. As of September 30th 2021 they are understaffed so getting good service is difficult. Food was on point though.
This restaurant was the bomb! For as packed as it was the service was excellent and the foods was delicious. We got BIG portions for the price! We definitely found our sport for breakfast!
Always enjoy dining because of the variety of choices and I enjoy small, simple meals that "stick to your ribs" kind of food. And.the desserts are plentiful and a good "take home" treat!
Horrible, found a maggot in my son's orange juice. It was half orange meaning half of it was in the oj for a while. Then when leaving, peacefully, I pointed out to them a pie in the display case with a long black hair in it. Won't ever go back again.
Service was terrible and we were sitting right next to their station. Food was mediocre at best. Please save yourself the time and keep driving, plenty of other places to eat.
I went I went in for a meal of chicken fry steak, I called it in by The time I got home it was super wonderful super delicious and love their service and a strawberry pie of course. Best place in Tulare
Ordered fish and chips. First batch was over cooked, dark brown. Second order was better but they dumped the food off from first order and reused same plates that had batter stuck to it. I have eaten at many Black Bear Diners, this was the only one that I have a negative opinion of. Will not return.
The food was very good people are very kind there first time eating there first time in the city there so very family-oriented thank you
Omg the food was delicious and our waitress was just AMAZING! Thank you Alma for your service. I'm definitely coming back soon
Quality of food was poor. The employees were standing around talking loud. One of the buspersons was eating behind the counter. Not going back.
So I'm from MO and was looking for a great breakfast joint, honestly I saw this place and locals compared it to dennys and mediocre, but today I finally tried it out and it was amazing and service was great, I will return before I leave Cali, definitely recommend
Your welcome it's always an amazing visit when I go in there with my parents Foods amazing service is awesome keep up the work guys
Order was wrong, they remade it and order was still wrong. Meat was undercooked, potatoes burned so badly they were not edible at that point. Main manager was nice enough to hear our concerns but at that point after having food made twice wrong we lost our appetite and went elsewhere to eat.
Ate at Black bear dinner meat was tough veggies not cook enough and our Apple pie had mole we'll never eat. At the one in Visalia on Mooney
I know the manager there and I recognize a lot of the waitresses there very friendly and they welcome you when you come in the door the service is good the food is great there's nothing you can say wrong about Black Bear diner.
We travel to visit family in So Cal, this is our stop for breakfast going south. Food, portions are excellent. Scott the manager is amazing.
Worth going to for any meal. Children meals and large portions very flavorful and delicious food. Good prices a nice atmosphere for everyone. Also sell excellent homemade pies of a diverse variety. Definitely a family destination
