Black Butte River Ranch is relaxed and welcoming. The entire staff is great. Stewart is The Manager and Tom is the Boss. The Management is very accommodating. Prices are reasonable.
BBQ stand is a mainstay for the community and the out of town visitors, alike.
Campground is next to two rivers!

Great little spot nestled in a crossroads for the mountain roads. On the weekends they do BBQ in the evenings and an eclectic mix of fascinating folk pour out of the surrounding hills to indulge.
Highly recommend the BBQ, it's so good it'll turn this Lil girl into a beggar
Great food (like, really dang good!) and ice cold drinks plus friendly people and a gorgeous peaceful atmosphere make this one of my favorite lunch stops on our long adventure moto rides. Lots of other supplies in the store if you are camping in the nearby National Forest, as well as laundry facilities (I believe).
This is a most amazing experience. The music Tom played was awesome. Very friendly vibe! THE LOCATION IS THE BEST PART! Breathtaking views and unbelievablly cold water! So refreshing!
So unlikely to find a little oasis like this at the edge of the forest, nestled next to the Eel river. Drop in, order from the grill, kick back under the flower arbor and relax. All sorts of folks wander through, and chance meetings happen here regularly.
My happy place. Tom is the Mayor of Happy Town. Very remote. Very basic. Very peaceful. Do not expect a mint on your pillow. Know you will be welcomed and loved.
