Blackbird Park reviews
4 Update: sprinklers seem to be either on flood or turned off. Lots of muddy patches even on hot summer days. Bring water- the dog bowl fountain is usually clogged.
Great dog park!
Blackbird park is a cute park off Hovnanian and natomas central. There is a beautiful grassy area for soccer or volleyball pick up games. A baseball field with up graded fencing. A big covered patio with tables and benches and a barbecue. There are two dog parks, one for large dogs, one for small dogs. And the Blackbird common garden is spectacular.
Good playground! One area for bigger kids and one for smaller kids. There are also shaded areas, a water fountain, and a lot of grass to run in. Right next to a dog park but some people have told me to be careful of owners not picking up after their pets (I haven’t had an issue but I was also just visiting the city for a few weeks)
Love this park - they have stuff for the big kids and the littles. Tons of grass to play around in, too. And the dog park is always fun to watch!
