This was such a wonderful experience for my husband and I. Ebikes are the best way to check out the city. This experience was the highlight of my husband birthday. Stevyn (sp?) was knowledgeable, full of cool facts about the city and overall, very friendly. The staff members were all helpful. I would recommend this business to family and friends

Our tour guide Stevyn and the great customer service are why I'm leaving a 5-star review. Stevyn was very knowledgeable about the tour and subject matter and was able to answer some curve-ball questions too. He asks fun questions and he made an effort to talk to everyone on the tour. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with him and the rest of my group.

The customer service was extraordinary. They were excited for us and made us feel special.

I have two small complaints - not enough to take stars off and nothing that I even brought up because we bought the cheapest bikes and didn't want to pay for a better experience. That is:

1) The cheapest bikes have cheap seats. After an 8-mile ride, I had to ride standing up because my butt hurt.
2) My bell didn't work. Staff should test it before giving them out. If I brought it up, they probably would've given me a new one, but I didn't.

Overall - for the price paid I'm highly satisfied with my tour.

Highly recommend to rent bikes from Blazing Saddles especially if you want to cross GG bridge. The welcome was super friendly, the bikes in great conditions (we went for e-bikes) and they changed the saddle for me. The best for us was the flexible return policy (also after store hours) as we wanted to use at night as well to get around. Overall a great experience and super friendly service. The ride over the bridge and to Sausalito is fabulous and I highly recommend to come back as well especially if you catch a sunny day - the views are just spectacular!

Everything went perfect with the bikes and with our trip, but you made effective the U$S 120 deposit for warranty that was supposed to be pending. I want you to take action to reinburse us the money as soon as possible please. Thank you.

Morgan, CJ, and the rest of the team here are awesome. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time looking at any other shops. They’ve been doing this for 30+ years and are by far offering the best value for money. They were super patient and made sure my bike fit was dialled in before I set out for Marin. The 24 hour rental with drop-off anytime is another huge bonus! Will definitely be back.

We used a Groupon and it made the prices even better (their prices are very reasonable without the Groupon, we thought). The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, but they run "panicked. " They acted busier than they were and we were constantly being handed off to someone new, which made the process a bit overwhelming. We went with the traditional bicycle and did not take ferry tickets, despite the staff's extra efforts to get us to upgrade and take the tickets. We biked into Sausalito and back and only had to walk our bikes up one hill back up to Golden Gate out of Sausalito. One staff laughed and told another staff that "they're going to have trouble and won't make it" when we refused to use e-bikes or take the ferry. The equipment was great, no issues with the bikes or locks and the return process was smooth as butter.

Worst customer service ever. I got an E-Bike which didn't work at all, and they wanted to charge the full fare. Check the bike before you pay or don't rent from here!

Very solid (pedal-assisted) ebike experience—would highly recommend this company for your bike rental! We did “bike the bridge” over to Sausalito, then took the ferry back before biking more around San Francisco. Comes with everything you need for a solid day—worth the extra for the ebike instead of just a hybrid!

When I returned from the bike ride, I was thirsty, There was a machine in the shop dispensing drinks. I went to get a can of coke and was verbally abused by a staff member who told me the drinks machine was off limits. It was just inside a staff area.

I asked the staff member if he would get a drink for me, he was rude and abusive and refused.life is too short to deal with rude, obnoxious people. Avoid this shop. There are plenty of alternatives available in San Fran

I had a great time as part of a group renting their e-bikes with a tour. My girlfriend and I were almost 20 minutes late for the rest of our group, and one of their team members- Mike- was there ready and waiting to ride with us to catch up with the rest of the group. He even helped my girlfriend get moving again when she got stuck on a steep hill (trying to work the gears and e-bike assist!). Our guides CJ and Aiden were awesome- very laid back, friendly, and welcoming. They kept us safe and shared a little SF history throughout the ride to Sausalito. Finally, we got settled up at the front desk with Weronika, who was extremely friendly and helpful to cap off the whole experience. I’ll definitely recommend to friends and visitors. Whoever is in charge at this place runs a great crew!

After my positive experience the first day, I had to come back and rent a performance bike for my second day. Great crew and business!

DO NOT RENT with these people. They are a bunch of thieves. The moment you step in their shop they won’t stop talking and bombing you with useless information until you give them your credit card and they are already charging you 120$ without even knowing what you are getting. The most uncomfortable and undesirable experience. You better rent a car for the price of two bikes here. They will make you mad for the entire day.

We took the electric bikes for the guided bridge tour. They are very well run and organized from the moment you walked in! Super friendly staff and there to make sure everyone has a great time! They give you ferry ticket for your return- this was great! But if you didn’t use them and turned them in you wouldn’t pay for them! Our guide- CJ was excellent! Very knowledgeable and suggested the BEST restaurant for us to go to later in the day too! All around VERY fun time!

We did “bike the bridge” to Sausalito. It was really fun even though I’m a bit scared of heights. I would do it again. The hills getting up to the bridge were tough, but you can walk your bike if needed. The bridge took about 22 minutes to cross. There is a park with restrooms on the far side of the bridge. There could be more signs from the rest stop to the Sausalito ferry. We just followed the other bikes and made it ok. You will ride in the road with cars in Sausalito which was a little scary for me. Lots of shops and restaurants on the ride in Sausalito. The employees cheered us on the return to the store which was fun. I felt like I had really accomplished something!

Excellent experience. We rented two electric bikes so we can cross the Golden Gate Bridge. The staff was awesome. Super friendly, super knowledgeable, make you feel comfortable with what we were going to approach that day. We did the tour by ourselves, after following the instructions and suggestions that the staff gave us. Very easy the check-in and easier the check-out when we returned the bikes.

They never refunded my deposit. I took a bike ride, left the bikes in sausalito and they never refunded the deposit. I have tried emailing the company and calling multiple times, but they simply stopped replying. Save yourselves 115 dollars and choose a different bike ride

Wes was a top class tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the city, great tour guide. Seemed like every question we asked he had a new fact to accompany his answer that taught us more.

Staff at the store was great too, very efficient process checking in and out.

Very friendly staff. This was my first time renting an ebike. I rented the e blazer. Great bike. I figured out that you really don't have to give pedal power to keep the bike going; you just have to spin the crank. When I did give pedal power, No matter what gear I was in and no matter how fast I was going, and no matter what power setting the bike was in, on decently level ground, I didn't have to give much hard pedal power. The bike helped a lot; the bike got me far down the road quicker than I thought. The ride was very enjoyable. I love to ride regular bikes and rented the ebike because I am not in too good of shape at this time. I rode up a high steep hill that overlooks the city. The bike helped a whole lot. I managed the power pretty well throughout the day; I kept it at a low 1 or 2 and sometimes 3 and 4 setting for most of the day. As I got tired towards the end of my ride, I used power settings 3,4, and 5 more often. I rode a long time and returned the bike with 1/4 battery power left.
