Color was nice and actually stayed much, much longer than most other dye jobs I’ve had done. Although to be honest it didn’t look very different from what I had before. Stylist was very friendly and sweet. BUT, for the price I paid (over $400!) it’s ridiculous to not be able to style curly hair. Like, this should be a must for every stylist out there period. What are you gonna do if a PoC comes into your salon? You’d be lost. And I’m just a regular af white person with curly hair. For this insane price, I shouldn’t be sent away with frizzy, limp hair. I should walk out looking and feeling my best, not frustrated you can’t style my very common hair texture. Won’t return. Curly haired girls beware.

I love getting to go to my hair appointments at Blonde/Blond! I see Lauren who is an absolute dream with my color. The salon has a fun/cool vibe and is always playing good music. So glad to have found my home here.

It’s all in the name. Blonde/Blond is the best spot for any blonde. As soon as I moved to LA I found Lauren Payne and have loved every visit with her. She keeps my hair light, bright and most importantly healthy. I absolutely love the salon and the team. 10/10 would recommend

I can not recommend this place enough! Such a relaxed environment and all of the staff was super helpful, from the time of booking to checking out. Audrey did a lovely balayage on my hair to brighten it up. My hair has NEVER felt healthier after a coloring and she was able to lift the color to what I wanted without damaging it. My first wash was not at all brittle and my hair feels soft. Also, who could argue with this beautiful blending at the top? ! Seamless.

Ya’ll should definitely check out Matthew, his work is incredible. I came in with black bottoms, blue, purple, and all kinds of different colors in my hair and his magic hands made me blonde that day. The process took a while but was completely worth it! Bring food if you’re gonna do this lol

STAY AWAY IF UR BLONDE I have never regretted going to a new salon until I went here. Went in with bright blonde hair to get my roots touched up and left with LIGHT BROWN GINGER hair. They allowed me to come back in to fix it the next day and when I was in the chair, the stylists went in the back to talk poorly about me and I could hear everything. Even after they tried fixing it it still turned out yellow, splotchy, and exactly the opposite if what I was coming in for. I never wanted brown hair much less to be a red head, and came to them because I thought they would be able to help dye my blonde hair better than a regular stylist! Would not recommend going here! Ended up spending double to fix the damage they did to my color not to mention my actual hair!

Calling all "Blondes" - You MUST see Lauren here! She is incredible - kind, professional, relatable and AMAZING at all things BLONDE! I came in with many inches of gray/mousy growth, more inches of bad box dye, and leftover salon color from pre-pandemic days. After a carefully curated consultation Lauren got to work and clearly loves what she's doing. I showed her a picture of the shade I wanted and the end product was exactly that. Plus the Olaplex treatment made my hair shiny and soft from root to tip. The color correction blended beautifully with the fresh highlights and I couldn't be happier. I've never been more pleased on a first visit. So don't hesitate - get thee to the Home for Wayward Blondes)

There is no other salon in Los Angeles that does hair like this Blonde Blond. When I say icy blonde that’s exactly what happens and it’s magic. Not only are the results amazing, but it’s a very clean facility and up to all covid standards for sanitation and capacity which made me feel great about going.

Caitlin & the Blonde Blond are the BESTTT! I just went from a mucky dark color (self dyed) to the coolest blonde in a day and I’m so excited it looks so good. Seriously thanks. I’ve tried a LOT of hair places everywhere (Nashville/minnesota/NYC) with my curly hair and going blonde and this place is hands down the best

Kyza has been doing my hair for over a year now and to say she is amazing is an understatement. Her blonding skills are pure magic: she miraculously corrected my oddly toned, chunky highlights and transformed it a gorgeous blonde color.

Kyza's also incredibly professional and makes sure I'm happy, which I always am! I could never imagine anyone else touching my hair. And despite all the work that goes into going blonde, my hair has never been healthier (seriously) thanks to Kyza's product recommendations.

Aside from the uber talented blondetourage, the salon is super clean and quiet - even on the weekend. (It's the complete opposite of all the other salons in LA where you have to yell at the top of your lungs just to have a conversation.) Price-wise, I think Blonde/Blond is about the same as other salons, maybe a little more, but you get what you pay for and I think it's worth every penny.

Every blonde struggling to maintain their blonde in LA needs to come to Kyza at Blonde/Blond; she’s an expert artist — a master of her craft. After coming to LA, it took me over 3 years of trial and error with other colorists to finally serendipitously find Kyza. I will never go elsewhere. Like any master artist, Kyza’s attention to detail is impeccable; she’s a perfectionist. She listens extremely well and consistently nails it, whether it’s the initial color correction I needed from the past botched jobs of previous colorists, or getting the detailed layers of varied blonde colors that I desired. My hair is thin and Kyza was able to create a lot of dimension and make it appear thicker. Thank you Kyza!

I came here as a hair model and wasn't expecting much, and was very pleased with Alexis masterful hair dyeing techniques. She even added a streak of purple and curled my hair at the end. Fabulous work!

I never write reviews, but I'm so glad I found this place, I feel like others should know about it.
I've been to so many salons in LA, trying to get that perfect shade of blonde and every time I was disappointed with the quality– either my hair was orangey or the highlights were uneven or the colorist was meh. Finally found this mecca for 'wayward blondes' and I couldn't be happier. Kyza walked me through the process of exactly how to achieve the blonde I wanted and then did exactly that. It was like magic. She evened out my old highlights with my roots and blended it to be the perfect, natural shade. Finally, after all my failed attempts, my hair was the blonde I'd been dreaming of.
I've been back several times since, and can honestly say it was not a fluke–the quality of service is consistently tops. Kyza is a true artist, not to mention a kind, considerate person that is fun to be in a conversation with for the 2 hours you're getting your hair done (which is so important). If you're looking for a smart, savvy colorist you can trust, go to to Kyza at blonde/ blond.

Gigi is the absolute worst! She over processed my hair and completely fried it! I'm so upset. Do not book with her. IDK how the other stylists are but she should not be trusted with lightener.

Hair is a very sensitive and important subject of your entire look so it's hard finding someone you trust. And let me tell you that Kyza is the only person I trust with my hair! I have dark Asian hair but wether I'm getting a touch up or fixed up, I always walk out with amazing blonde hair!
