Service was lousy, long waits. Food was medicore at best. Do your self a favor and get better bbq elsewhere. Over priced.

I had the smoked beef brisket. Texas style uses a lot of black pepper. It was good. I just didn't care for the heavy black pepper. The pulled pork cheese fries were amazing! I'd go back just for those.and to try a Hot Link

Ordered TWO dinosaur beef ribs, Mac n’ cheese, and coleslaw for delivery on UberEats. First, this is not an inexpensive feat. Including tip and fee, it was over $100. But the beef ribs were gigantic! A little dry but still good. The Mac n’ cheese was mushy but I didn’t mind it. I kind of like my Mac a little soft. The coleslaw was just fine. It totally fulfilled my bbq craving.
PSA: don’t try to eat TWO Dinosaur Beef Ribs. It will hurt. You will cry. Almost totally worth it though.

Could be much better if they would broaden sauce offerings to popular options like spicy vinegar, white sauce, and a mustard option. Also not selling sandwich options all day or on weekends makes it too expensive for frequent BBQ dining.

Maybe caught them between shift, but the service was terrible. Also, the atmosphere is so bland. Come on Bludso, you guys could do so much better.

Went there to try pulled pork as I’m French and wanted to try real bbq from the US, the meat and the fries were really good.
However I’m mostly leaving a review for the bartender because while I was waiting for my food, he offered me a glass of water and started talking to me in French! When I asked him how he knew I was French he told me he noticed my accent when I was ordering!
He then kept talking to me in French while I was waiting and let me tell you that he was really good at it too!
He’s probably one of the nicest person I met during my trip and I’m really glad I got to meet him
Was really sad as I couldn’t tell him bye when I left since he was busy working, if you see this I’m sending you much love from France, thank you so much for your kindness!

Very tasty food. But at Sunday having half of menu is no excuse. 5 stars only for awesome ribs.

Excellent food and service.not sure what's with all the other reviews.had to drive around the block a couple of times before I found a spot to park.looks like there's valet parking right next to it tooq

The people were friendly. The service was fast and the food was really food. I had a brisket empanada. The crust was soo light and flaky and the meat was tender and well smoked. I also had the shrimp and grits ball
Something I had never had. It was good, but if you don't like spices, it's not for you. I had had take out before from the Compton location, but had never been to this one. It was worth the drive from the Inland empire.

Ribs and pulled pork came out pretty cold and seemed like they were not that fresh. Vibes were decent and service was fast.

Was super excited to try Bludso’s for the first time and was disappointed in the brisket I received. Paid 24 bucks for a 1/2 lb of point brisket with close to no bark on it. The beans were amazing but when you’re paying close to 40 bucks for a 1/2 of meat and ONE side it’s sadly not a meal i’ll be getting too often.

As a Texan (born and raised) this place is pretty good! We ordered the brisket, Mac and cheese (which was surprisingly super flavorful) and the cornbread which was so good with butter! Super clean spot - Will definitely come back and possibly order food for thanksgiving!

Everything is delicious they've actually been in business for a very long but this store is a new store in Santa Monica. It's only been there three or four months.and this was my first time here so I'll check back in the next time.

Wonderful food, nice wait staff. Best chicken wings with dry rub ever. So happy this Wonderful bbq is now on the Westside. Valet parking available behind the restaurant.

Everything tasted reheated and dry.ate at one on la brea acfew months ago and it was excellent.very disappointing

This place was absolutley fantastic. The food was mind blowing but the service was even better. Just come here and eat, you won't regret it.

BBQ is a little bit dry and less juicy. The sauces are very good though. Quick service. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The mark of a good BBQ joint is the aroma when you enter. Bludso's rises to the task with excellent brisket!
