Blue Agave Night Club, San Diego CA

My fiancé and I had an awesome time here! This was our first time since we're here on vacation with our kids, but if we're ever in the area, we'll definitely be back.

I had a terrible experience. The securities were aggressive towards my husband. Please be careful do not go to this place. The security will gather and throw you out for no reason. I had to call the police because of the abuse. Never going back to this place. I was there to celebrate my birthday and the security were rude and wanted to intimidate us. Don’t recommend this place.

I had a horrible night on February 18 due to the waitress MONIC. She did not attend us how a waitress is supposed to. When we asked if we can get an extra chair because we were 4, she told us that’s our problem to figure it out. She was so rude. So we had to get the chair ourselves. Once these two women came that she and the security Carlos knew they started trying to take away that chair we got. When nothing was said the whole time we had it until they arrived. They showed preference to them, when we were paying for everything too. It’s not fair as paying costumers to be treated like that just because you know someone. MONIC AND CARLOS made a whole scene for a chair we had to look for ourselves. We just wanted to have a good night but it was all ruined by them to the point that we weren’t comfortable there anymore. I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD!

First time going to Blue Agave after a couple years. NEVER going back. Security are just too much, too agressive. Gave us a warning of kicking us out if we would be near the dance floor again. Ok, we understand but why come to us the way they did. We read the reviews that experiences with security where not great and well totally confirmed. We where a calm party. No reason to treat us like we where doing something bad. We did not enjoy the rest of the night. Payed a bottle service to grab a table and the table was right new to dance floor. 250$ for a Tequila and spent an extra couple hundreds to be treated that way. Lesson learned, no Blue Agave for us again.

If your going to close a 02: 54am don't post that your open until 0430. Waste of gas and time.

If I could just put 0 starts I would but I can’t. I had a Horrible experience we were 3 couples and we reserved a table we spent over $600 to be kicked out by a super disrespectful, hysterical security guard who started pushing us telling us to leave when we were already leaving because I was not feeling good. He was literally on our face and pushing us when we just wanted to get our stuff to leave.they didn’t even let us get our stuff from our table when we were coming from the bathroom and they stole my wallet. We were frequent customers but after this we are never planning to visit this place I don’t know how they are still open with this untrained securities and poor customer service

We were two couples who decided to go out after many years and planned on going out to dance there. We received the worse experience ever. The waitress let us know that they stop serving drinks at 2 and offered us drinks before they stopped serving. We said yes and got a bucket of beer. As they dropped off our drinks the security came up to our table and snatched all of our beers telling us we couldn't drink anymore. He started pushing us and handcuffed all of us for no reason, stole my watch, left bruises and hurt one of the ladies arm from pulling her arms back aggressively. That was probably the worse experience I have ever gone through. They try to make business last minute and take away all of our drinks. He abused of his power treating us like criminals after spending over $400 at that place just to get humiliated in front of a whole crowd. We will never go back there and we going to speak up to notify our known ones.

Horrible experience, how do you guys operate a business this poorly
One of the security snatched my drink right off my hand because he said it was last call to buy a drink, I literally took one sip as I walked backed to my table and as i got to my table an sat he just took the drink out my hand. I asked him to let me drink at least half. He tossed it on the bucket n said “does it look like i care”. Horrible customer service especially because we went as a group with over 15 people. He proceeded to argue with my friends, it was a group of all girls. If it would of been all men the outcome of an action like this would of been very much different. It’s messed up that you guys treat women in this way and take advantage. We will definitely be making better decisions on where to spend our money.
