Blue Ribbon Donuts reviews
4 They are a decent little donut shop in Norco. It is family run and they are nice and friendly for the most part. Just don't catch Grandma on a bad day lol.
I do wish they would attempt some more trendy donuts and I wouldn't need to go elsewhere for a good donut.
Special ordered a large donut (instead of a cake) for my son's 3rd birthday, per his request. He asked for a large donut with yellow icing and sprinkles. This is what we got. I was so disappointed, and being that we picked up the donut on the morning of his party, there was no time to get a replacement donut elsewhere.
The donut icing was supposed to be yellow - not orangish brown. The donut shape was mishapen, and barely had a hole cut out of the middle. The entire top of the donut was completely sunken in, and a huge part of the inside middle was still completely liquid raw dough. I had to throw the donut in the trash. Inedible and poorly made and the business did not follow my instructions/request. When placing my order, I had even drew out and wrote out what I wanted and included my contact info if any questions arose. My son was so disappointed with his birthday donut we had to throw in the trash after he blew out his candles.
The donuts are alright. But the problem is: they overcharge you every time you come in. $8 for half a dozen but I am charged $12. When I asked them, they say it's "cuz I give you extra". Then they end up giving you donuts you don't like or didn't ask for. Yet you're still paying for them, they are not free. Yet they'll keep telling you: "it's free. It's free! " It's not free though.
Excellent variety of doughnuts. We come here 3 times a week and the items we choose are almost always different.
The ham and cheese crossaint is very good and about $4.50
There are other sandwiches that if you are willing to wait a few min and pay a few more bucks they are delicious and well made.
My son loves the doughnut holes or the plain glazed doughnut.
