I took in a bunch of disc based games to be resurfaced, everything went well until it was time to pick up the games. I'm from out of town so it's not just a simple five minute drive to get them. After driving back home I realized something that they didn't. I was missing a game. A game that retails for decent money. I called them and luckily they were able to find the game back in Clovis. I asked their employee if there was a limit on how long they could hold it for me because I didn't know when I would be able to make my way back up. She told me they can essentially hold for as long as I need. I was like good cause it was their mistake that caused this in the first place. Well I was finally able to make it back to pick up my game, they told me they have a limit on how long they can hold something before they consider it "abandoned". They called usually when I was at work but to tell me my game was ready to be picked up but never once mentioned they had a time limit on how long they could hold the game. I mean not even a text or voicemail saying hey you have this amount of time to pick up until the game is considered "abandoned". After explaining the situation they tell me I'm out of luck and the game is gone.it just feels like I paid them 5 dollars to keep and sell my game for 100 percent profit.no offer for store credit even partial for the "abandoned/missing game". They also refused a refund for the 5 dollar resuface fee. Which to the employee's credit he tried to get and the owner denied. Not a nice way to treat your customer, I'll just have to shop elsewhere unfortunately.

They sell some pretty cool stuff, I personally have bought some gamecube games for my collection and havent had any issues yes they are a bit more expensive than ebay but youl will be supporting a local business plus if you have any issues you actually have a physical store you can take it back to. Also have had some games cleaned by them that they have got to work again, never have taken a console to get rapaired but have had friends that have and have told me that they are also pretty good at that, only thing I would say to stay away from is selling them your old video games and consoles, they will lowball you and will just try to see the smallest thing thats dirty to decrease their offer other than that really a good store if your into collecting retro video games.

I have been a customer of Blue Shell Gaming for almost two years and have always found amazing deals at these locations! They have great customer service and offer a military/veteran discount, I love stores that honor our service members with a discount! I will say their prices are beyond reasonable and run very consistently with online resell websites. So you'll never have to worry about being ripped off!

Place is organized but doesn’t look appealing.there is always a rude young black haired Gal working behind the counter, and also they’ll say they offer better trade in prices then game-stop but yet it’s only a couple dollars more. It’s basically a runned down resell shop with a bunch of very used items.

Went in to window shop, but was helped by an amazing worker, Phil Lout, and was recommended some good picks for games.

Went in the store today on my way to San Diego and Phil was an absolute delight, great customer service!:)

Staff is much friendlier now, cool little shop. Pricing a little high compared to buying online.

One of the best actually only place in town where you can buy Retro games and new up to date games.

Terrible selection, overpriced, and in poor condition product, store is run down and dirty and decrepit.

Nice little shop catering to video gamers (mostly). Solid selection of games and accessories for older systems. We were looking for items for the original Nintendo Wii (yes ours still works and we still play it). This was the first place in a while where we found anything for that old console. Prices are a trifle above what I thought was fair - but the items carried are clean and in good working order, and they do provide a limited warranty. Service is friendly and helpful too. They also carry an eclectic selection of art and collectibles, mostly anime-themed - stop by if this is your thing.

Always a great selection of games new and old. The staff is very friendly with great customer service. If they do not have it they always check their other stores to see if they have it and are able to transfer it over. Glad to see they are starting to carry card product again as well. One employee named Phil always makes sure I leave there with a great experience. Thanks Phil!

Great store and great employees! Phil was very helpful and provided excellent customer service! They didn't have what I was looking for but Phil made wonderful recommendations that were a great substitution! I came in today (12/17/21) looking for Pokémon card mystery packs. I was assisted by Shirley and she was an absolute gem. They were sold out but she went out of her way to write down my number so that she could call me when she gets more. Outstanding customer service.
