Blue Sky Bistro reviews
16We walked in on a rainy night. Jeremy was super friendly. My kid really likes the food, the “cozy” atmosphere and friendly service.
Spent $23 on Nachos as part of my order. They included the nacho toppings in the take out order but not the actual nachos hahaha
If you order take out, be annoying and check your order or ask your deliveryperson to double check it before leaving. Would be easier to forgive if they were busy at the time but they weren't. Sucks that they can't be trusted with a pretty simple task.
Chilly morning but we chose to eat outside for the view! Service was slow. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves. There was a couple eating inside, and we were the only other people outside at 8: 30am. Food was a yummy generous, portion! I will come back again for the food.
Nice terrace. Food was not the best, granola yoghurt served in ice cream glass, hard to mix & eat. Egg dishes are good portions. Overall, the food could be a bit more simple and more practical. The place is a bit higher priced than other local outlets which is not justified by the overall experience.
Good food, though nothing exceptional. Crab bisque in bread bowl was ok, slightly toasted bread bowl a nice touch. Pastrami sandwich was ok too.
Food here was good, and the staff did their jobs excellently.
Upon paying, however, and handing the wait staff a gift card that was a couple of years old, we found that the wait staff was unable to honor our gift card.
After trying to use our gift card, and it not working, the wait staff informed us that there was a new owner. We asked if we could speak to the owner. Yes, we could, we were told. But then moments later, we were told that the owner was not there. We were told that the owner was down the street at another business that he owns.
We went to the other business the owner owns, and it was closed and nobody was there.
We then found the owner on social media. He has a bunch of posts about how he doesn't care about anybody except for himself. Please don't support this man or any of his dozen or so businesses.
Good food but pricey. Service was excellent, and quick. Atmosphere is great, dining at the patio during sunset is amazing.
Had lunch the view is great you get to see the bay you can hear the sea lions in the distance of you of Moro rock and there's even a seagull that visits you does not bother you while you're eating
Due to COVID issue and horrid staffing issues in most restaurants and retail they were understaffed. I understand but attitudes of the overworked still count.
I will try them again.
Asked for takeout after a tiring tourist day. The staff treated us as if we were dining in.
Great food. All entrees were delicious. Jeremy made our visit very pleasant with his exception service ️
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
The eggs benedict with crab and shrimp was amazing.
We were so hungry when we came into town and this was the first place we walked by. I was intrigued by their famous clam chowder but was highly disappointed. It did not taste fresh. It had a grainy consistency and was flavorless except for the paprika they sprinkled on top. I never actually tasted a clam but there were crunchy croutons in it. I also ordered the turkey sandwich which was flavorless and tasted like an at home wonder bread sandwich.which would have been ok if the dish wasn't nearly $20. I sent it back. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Best meal we had on this vacation. The clam chowder had Clams in every bite. Don't pass up the chicken picatta, it was so lemony and light. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. Both entrees had sautéed zucchini and spinach. We both cleaned our plates while enjoying the view of the bay. I don't know his name, but our server was pleasant and attentive.highly recommended!
This place was super underwhelming which sucks because their outdoor seating is great. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was bland. The potatoes were bland. The sauce was meh. It's hard to mess up breakfast. The service was awful. I was never asked if I wanted more water which I had to ask for because no one brought me any. It was 87 degrees at 11 am. The guy came and "checked in" when I was done eating. I won't come back here.
