Just completed the 104/114 ASA classes from Greg Hines at Blue Pacific Yachting. Definitely a great combo class if you are looking to get those certs. We sailed to Catalina Two Harbours and practiced lots of great skills on a 45' Lagoon Leopard catamaran. Greg creates a relaxed atmosphere making the learning fun and pressure-free. We needed to film a scene on a sailboat in the Marina. Elliott, staff, and Blue water sailing were extremely helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help ensure everything went well. And, it did. I would highly recommend Bluewater sailing. I give them an A+

Took a custom tailored private lesson on my own boat. All aspects of becoming comfortable were thoroughly discussed including handling the trailer, weight shifting, tacking, jibing, running, and safety. A great value! Increased my boat handling skills and confidence exponentially. I highly recommend Bluewater Sailing for lessons on their boats and on your own.

Just completed the ASA 101 and 103 with Bluewater Sailing. My experience with the team across the board has been stellar. I have been sailing off and on since I was a kid but never worked up the courage to get formal instruction so that I could feel confident taking friends out on my own. Elliot and Martin's instruction for the ASA courses took into account my previous experience, showed me my blind spots that I needed to work on, and was super engaging and fun! I can't wait to get back out there and see what's in store next with ASA classes and other seminars!

Beautiful day sailing with Captain Kaz! We learned a lot about the basics of sailing, got to help with the lines and steering of the boat and just had a really lovely, relaxing and fun day out on the water.

Very knowledgeable and eager to teach. You can tell their passion for sailing comes from years of experience.

Elliot and I prepared the coaching lesson plan prior to heading out. I have sailed for many years yet decided to hire a coach to help me get better. Lesson One went great. My crew and I look forward to the next coaching sesson.

The training was amazing. I signed up an intensive course (ASA 101) and learned keelboat basics.
The instructor guided us how to think and sail as a skipper and made sure we get as many practice as possible. Additionally, every member at Bluewater Sailing office is friendly and thoughtful. I am confident to recommend Bluewater to friends that want to experience sailing as well as enjoying it long term. This is definitely a good start build solid foundations for sailing and a great community to be part of.

All of the staff and instructors at Bluewater are very smart, patient, and friendly. They really invest in you and want you to grow into your best over a committed process rather than getting you in and out, as I've heard other schools can sometimes do. I'm very glad that I chose Bluewater and am decidedly in it for the long haul because of how great they've been.
