Blush Nail Bar, Valley Village CA

Unless you’re a Kazakh or Eastern European you won’t be treated nicely here. I have been here twice and both times with two different nail techs. The first one didn’t say a single word to me the whole time and looked irritated - definitely not friendly. The second one was a little better but she hurried the job up and the polish went on very thick which I do not like.

Not even two weeks later the polish is cracking and peeling and my nails look awful.

For $50 gel manicure I can find a much better spot in the neighborhood so I will not be coming back.

Honestly this nail salon has great customer service and overall good energy/vibe. There was a mixup with my scheduled appointment, however they made sure to accommodate me with the tech I requested and design that I wanted. To add, they did so with a smile and maintained a great attitude and professionalism the entire time. Never made me feel like a burden! Even on a busy day. I’m new to San Diego and so happy I found them! Their nail techs are pretty cutting edge on new trends too. I got gel-x with a design on all nails and she finished in less than a hour. So happy! Thank you!

Bad bad bad service I will never be back. 4 nails falls down in 1 days after full set. Dirty sink dirty tools. Disgust. Not professional at all. Gooo learn about blood born pathogens before damaging peoples nails and health

The worst nail salon. The lady bring a used towel with other peoples nails hanging on it and when I asked her politely to change it she said it is clean it's just soap on it.so I decided not to get the manicure. I got the gel pedicure I asked for white polish and gold French tip and she did a horrible job.cut my nails too short. I asked her for acrylic on both big toes and she did not understand. So, just for a regular white gel polish I was charged $70. HORRIBLE place. Never coming back here again! Please, go somewhere else to get better service.

I called and they quoted me one price, then doubled it after I was done, I got a mani pedi.and my mani started peeling, not chipping but peeling which usually only happens when I get gel nails but I didn't, I requested basic polish lesson learned, read the reviews

Not worth the price they charge. The salon feels dirty and unkept, with dated decor and chairs which have the coverings peeling off. Staff are unwelcoming, especially the front desk…always on their phones and not bothering to say hello when you come in, giving you irritated looks and whispering to their coworkers. I got a simple gel-x manicure for over $150 which imo is ridiculous in and of itself. Also spent almost 30min waiting for an appt I made in advance? Would rather spend that kind of money somewhere clean and welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend. Only upside was my tech Roxanne, she was lovely but simply not enough to warrant the rest of the disappointments.

I rarely make reviews but the lady I had today was not good for what I paid for. I made an appointment with two friends for 1pm and took 30 mins to take me in, and almost an hour for my friends. I simply wanted a gel manicure since it was my friend who wanted the gel ex nails and had a girl who she found on Instagram (she did a good job, but the prices here are so much). I felt rushed to pick a color, and rushed through the whole process. Since I got gel, I had to obviously put it under the UV light and she kept telling me to switch hands when the light did not turn off. There's a time limit on there to make sure your nails are dry, but she kept rushing me that they were not drying properly. She wiped one of my nails, and all of them came off. So instead of fixing it and layering it again, she put one coat, a clear coat and called it a day. She also cut me on three fingers, where I still have blood from her cutting my cuticles and it still hurts. Just cause the seats have that barbie pink leather and it's a cute place inside, it does not mean to overbook or overcharge. My nails were 40 which is average for gel nails, but didnt get any treatment except for lotion on only my right hand. I think she forgot the left hand since thats the one where she messed up my nail. Overall, I don't recommend this place. Acrylics/gelx are 130+ and pedicures are 70. Overpriced, rushed and overall was not a good environment: (

She pulled the table open while my arm was on it and clipped by skin, also filed my nail so hard she cut my skin & it’s now almost two weeks and I’m still in pain, and I’ll also share their gel nail polish peeled off alone, did not even lady a week. Very disappointed

It was my first time EVER getting a mani/pedi. My wife said it was too fast so I don't know. I think the nail tech did an okay job but I will not be sure until I go see another. I was in and out in under 40 minutes which did seem fast.only time will tell.

My nails after a week. Broken, chipping. Very cheap products. I expected better especially after paying 130 for a fill and design. My pedicure (70) even worse, two of my toe nails have now broken off with no trauma. I now have to see a doctor. I knew something was wrong when my toe ached after getting my pedicure. I thought she may have cut me but it looks way worse. Avoid this place, it’s Not clean and their products are cheap. Just when you think you’ve found a good place in the valley, you’re wrong.

Fast fast fast.they try to get you out as soon as possible. Not caring about the quality. Messed up the shape of my nails.they were all different shapes. Even each single nail was shaped different from each side. Needles to say gel came off 3 days later.

I was so excited to try this place after seeing the beautiful pictures on Instagram. When I arrived for my appointment I had to wait 15
mins, then was moved to the pedicure chairs to get my manicure because the manicure station was full. My nail tech went to start on my nails as I sat uncomfortably at the pedicure station, than she abruptly left me to go help someone that had just walked in. I waited another 15 mins for her to finally start on my nails. When she cut my cuticles she was so rough with the dremel that she cut me on 5 fingers. I sat there in disbelief at how unprofessional she was. I was bleeding so bad that I have dried blood under my nail and when I left I was still bleeding! I will say when I went to go pay ($110!), I told the woman at the front desk how unhappy I was and she could tell I was on the verge of tears, so she let me go free of charge. I will definitely not be coming back here! My nails look so lumpy and my fingers are all cut. Not to mention the way she was cleaning up my bloody nails was so unsanitary, hopefully I don’t get an infection. I will NEVER be coming back here!

I was really excited to finally get my nails done. I made an appointment because the receptionist said that it would be better so I didn’t have to wait. When I got there it took 30 minutes after I got there for them to start my acrylics. The lady was very aggressive with my nails. She completely destroyed my cuticles and I started to bleed. It was $90 for short acrylic nails and it took 2 hours! Totally not worth it. Never coming here again.

This place is a joke. I had an appointment, after an hour of waiting I left. Why give an appointment if you cannot accomediate? Rediculous! On top of that they don’t sanitize their stations after every client and no social distancing what’s so ever.

I follow Blush on instagram and was so excited to go in. I got a fill and a design and it looked great, however many people walked in the salon without masks and I had to be the one to say something
to make them enforce the mask rule. That was
strike 1.2 days later 2 nails started completely lifting. Strike 2. When i got them fixed, the nail tech immediately took a drill to the nail coming off and it pulled more of the acrylic with it along with my natural nail, it was extremely painful. She finally put the nail in foil and I sat for 45 minutes waiting to get my acrylic replaced as she completed a full set on another client. Once she finally got around to it, the shape and color did not match my other hand at all. What should have been an easy and painless 15 minute fix took a little over an hour. Strike 3. I wanted to love my experience at Blush, but I will not be going back.

Due to the county making a mandatory close on other nail salons. I went in today, due to COVID I would expect them to take extra precaution. But that’s not the case they didn’t sanitize the pedicure chairs after the previous customer and sat us down. They had crowded space, customers weren’t even 6ft apart. While I was getting my pedicure done two young women entered without a mask, it wasn’t until 5 min later the receptionist told one of them to put a mask on. The other young lady remained without a mask while doing her pedicure the whole time I was there. The pedicure chairs are not 6 feet apart and they use all of them they don’t separate the customers. Let me not mention the receptionist has a judge mental attitude. But overall amazing nail service. Customer and Sanitary services need to be evaluated.

I’ve been coming here and they never disappoint me! I’m always leaving that place satisfies and always loving my nails.

I arrived at the place at 12: 15 I left the place at 2 and 40 and it was not worth neither the time nor the exorbitant price two hours for gel nail polish and asymmetrical foot nail polish with 3 times repair
Also cut me by the hand which is the little part because of this mental anguish
I will definitely not return to this place

This is my second time visiting Blush nail bar. I have been nothing but thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Every single time I leave there, I cannot believe how clean and perfect my nails look. There is not one imperfection to be found. I live in the high desert, and will happily drive two hours for my next appointment. Sonny did my nails and she crushed it, obviously! I’ll be sure to request her next time.

This salon has been the most disappointing one I have been to so far. Before I get into detail I just want to point out that they are not sanitary whatsoever, the place was over crowded, didn't seem like anyone was following covid guidelines and might I add not using new nail files for each client.
I was super excited that I had made a russian gel manicure appointment with Jasmin (receptionist had told me she does a russian gel manicure). I arrive at my appointment on time, they said it would be a few minutes. As I sat uncomfortably in the over crowded salon trying not to get too close to the clients next to me, Jasmin had come to inform me that it will be another 10 minutes (on top of the 15 minutes I have already waited) I said not a problem to not give anyone a hard time. 15 minutes later the receptionist informs me that suddenly Jasmin does not offer russian gel manicures and that they have another girl that can do it for me, this is obviously frustrating enough I have waited over 30 minutes just to be informed that they clearly don't have it together. Yet I needed my nails done so I went to the nail tech that was available (Sonny) who I was so grateful for taking me). It was the least they could have done after all. On my way out to pay for the service the girl in the front desk with the blond hair had some really bad attitude I didn't care for, I asked her if the card went through for the transaction she quickly brushed me off and went about her day. I was curious later that day to see if the receptionists got it together and called to ask if Jasmin does russian gel they said "no". Funny because a friend of mine ran into her at the salon later that same day and Jasmin claims she indeed does russian gel manicures, and that she was just "busy". Keep walking ladies they don't have a single clue whats going on there. So unprofessional, unsanitary and disgustingly rude.what a huge disappointment.
