BOA Steakhouse, West Hollywood CA

The food here is amazing. I absolutely love the ambience. If you're in the West Hollywood area definitely come to this happening place!

This place is great. The steak was phenomenal I ordered a filet mignon. My beautiful date ordered a Cajun style well done ribeye which was amazing, we also had lobster mac and cheese which was phenomenal. And cream spinach. It was plenty of food and very tasty. The berry drink was also very good. Parking is valet $15, give a $5 tip so basically 20 bucks.
I got there at 7: 30 and it wasn't too busy by the time we left at 10: 00 the place was jumping! Enjoy your meal

Nice atmosphere but not worth the price for what you eat. Had a rib eye steak for $69 which was very fatty meat & not as tasty.

We had the Center Cut Steak, Mash potatoes, Black Berry Smash and Chilean Sea Bass. We sat in the outdoor area, it was well appointed, clean and service was expedient. Everything was good.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Once you've tasted Japanese wagyu beef, there's no going back to Angus beef. Boa Steakhouse in West Hollywood is serving up top-notch steak, seafood and sides.

Last night I began with an off menu special, 1oz of Royal Ossetra Caviar. This was sensational. I've never had caviar in such a large quantity and this was the first time I could actually taste it. It had a savory, salty, and not fishy at all taste that exploded in your mouth, literally. At first I pressed the caviar to the roof of my mouth and let the eggs burst onto my tongue with their delicate juices. Then, I began to let them sit in my mouth and melt away with a gentle roll of the tongue. This was a true delicacy.

My next appetizer was Goat Cheese Baklava with pistachios, black truffles, and frisee. Normally, when I think of baklava I think of a dessert dish, however this was salty, creamy, garlicky and sweet. A true journey of taste buds, and a joy to eat.

My dinner sides included Lobster Mac and Cheese and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. The mashed potatoes were exquisitely seasoned and the taste of the truffles resonated throughout the entire dish. The lobster mac was extremely cheesey and tasted of butter with hints of garlic. Yum!

My steak was easily the star of the dinner. Of several wagyu options I choose the Iwate Wagyu, Japan's most award winning wagyu. Iwate Wagyu is known for its exquisite balance between umami, or savoriness, and sweetness. The meat was so tender, juicy and buttery. The subtle and luscious flavors melted in your mouth and gave way to utter and complete ecstasy.

Excellent service. Exquisite fresh Lobster. Delicious truffle mashed potatoes. Great asparagus and crab cakes. Drinks are on the heavy side, Don't be afraid to ask for extra bitters. Also steak: Do not order well done! Or you're wasting your time! Get it medium. Also there is a dress code, but you don't need a tux, just don't look like you came from the beach.

Both the Steven’s were absolutely amazing. Their attention to detail was beyond anything I could have ever asked for. Thank you for making my out of town relatives feel like movie stars. This was absolutely the highlight of their trip. The food is always amazing here. Never fails.

If you’re ever here on a weekend. Please ask for either of the Stevens. You won’t regret it.

When I tell you this was the best steak I have ever had I’m telling you this is the best steak I have ever had. I ordered steak (well done), french fries, and cookies for dessert and it was all delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked and super rich and tender and the service is amazing they they took a lot of care and provided my family and I with pillows, a heater, and allowed us to switch seats may times.

I loved the BOA experience. Not only was the food good food the service was really really nice. Our host was so informative and helpful. We had a large party and they made us feel like it was an individual experience. I loved it! Thank you BOA!

Way over rated me and fam went here for a celebration we were not satisfied. I ordered a steak went out my box I normally just order chicken, ordered the steak well done that thing was way past well done. Will not be going back

Food was great, scenery was amazing, our waiter seemed like he didn’t wanna be there. Besides that they have the best lobster I’ve had in a while not to mention amazing sides! Drinks need improvement.

I won't lie. I love this place. Was there last week for a dinner with 2 couples. Make sure you ask for a booth. Food is wonderful, cocktails are great. But the booth is enough reason for me to visit again. Our server Lucy was lovely. I brought 2 bottles of wine and they treated them with the respect they were due. The party ordered porterhouse steaks and being non-youngsters we had to split.

Went for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The lobster mashed potatoes, tomahawk ribeye, Boa chop chop salad were all fantastic, as was the complimentary birthday cheesecake.
