Boathouse on the Pier is a feast for the taste buds and the eyes! The view is breathtaking overlooking Lake Tahoe and the food was fresh and delicious. Try the Aurora's Garden cocktail!

The place is cute and has decent food. Not impressed with the server. She claimed to be short staffed with 3 servers a bar tender and kitchen staff. With less than 20 tables occupied. It took her 45 min just to refill water. We had to hunt her down just to pay the bill.

Aurora was awesome and the view is to die for! Great lunch and dinner spot! Def recommend coming here! Outstanding service and food is awesome tasty

Great time all the way around! It all started with Kyla creating a welcoming experience as soon as we walked in the door and she delivered on great service the whole time we were there. Top notch service! The food was great. You can’t beat the location and setting of the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

We had a party of 6 on a Wednesday at 11: 30 AM. The staff was very accommodating. We sat outside on the balcony & the views were breathtaking. Our food and drinks were amazing!

On Thursday of this past week, your outstanding employee Katy showed tremendous calm under pressure as she did the work of 4 people. Making and Serving drinks behind the bar, welcoming guests and helping them to get seated, taking food orders, and even bringing out our dinners.

Outstanding food and service with a smile. Would recommend going for the views but the the food and service is what made it memorable. Thank you Katy and Boathouse kitchen staff!

We got there and gave our name to one of the waiters since there was no hostess. We then waited 20 minutes. The hostess then asked us if we had been helped. We told her we gave our name to the waiter 20 minutes prior. She said she “controls the list” and we weren’t on the list because we didn’t talk to her first. Interesting, didn’t realize customer are required to know the one and only person to give their name to at a restaurant.

This whole time there were 5 open tables that were unfilled. We finally were seated 15 minutes later.

The table had no plates or silverware. We ordered food and drinks right away to try to account for our delay in seating. They brought out sodas to half the table but we didn’t get the waters we requested for an additional 25 minutes.

We got our food after waiting another 20 minutes. No silverware though so we had to ask for that. The food was actually quite good but they really struggle on the service side here. Too bad

Lemon drop drink was sour. We ordered the garlic parm fries. They were plain and couldn’t even get ketchup.
Menu was basic and missing things at that point even.
Would not go back. Very disappointing.

Amazing small restaurant with great views. Kyla our waitress was attentive yet not constantly checking in with us. We spent about 2.5 hours drinking wine and slowly ordering appetizers. The food came quickly and the wine (an Austin hope bottle of red) was very reasonably priced. If I’m back in Tahoe I’ll be here again!

Very nice restaurant on the pier of Lake Tahoe, offering beautiful views of the Lake and nice choice of food and drinks. Bring back Fish & Chips you used to offer!:)

Boathouse and Sidelines located on the Beach Retreat and Lodge property were lovely. Jorge the bartender and waiter was very efficient and personable.

Service was pretty terrible, we spent $70 on two appetizers and two drinks. We waited for ten minutes before even receiving a menu, 30 for our drinks, and an additional 15 for our apps. That’s a long time to wait when you order Brie and calamari. The food was okay, the drinks were fine.

Great view, great food, fast service as well. Only thing was their sprite was really watered down. The servers are nice, the food was nice and yummy and you can’t beat the view.

This was one of the most memorable places I have been and we were treated with a spectacular sunset last night as well as a rainbow! Our server was Luceta (Liceta) and she was prompt, courteous and I requested that she bring out birthday cake and sing for my girlfriend which she was happy to do. While a restaurant will usually comp a piece of birthday cake, this was not the case. Either way, we had an amazing dinner, atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing and we made some friends with fellow customers on the patio! Highly recommend this place!

This place was awesome. Right on the water and delicious food. The mahi mahi tacos are amazingggg and the cocktails are just as good. Ally was a great server, she lets us sit downstairs on the pier even though they weren’t serving that section. She was a fantastic server to have

Manager has no customer service skills. Calamari is not good, very greasy! Sent back with an attitude! Worst experience visiting s tahoe. Other choices without feeling bad by staff
