Boba Bar and Desserts, San Diego CA

Boba is good. Strawberry milk tea is depressingly rank cheese foam is a lil cray but not too bad. $8 and i could only muster 4 dang sips.

Favorite boba shop in San Diego! Love the classics: Jasmine green milk tea, black milk tea, milk tea. If you want a classic Vietnamese smoothie, avocado smoothie is a great choice! They also have puffles (think waffle like), ice cream and açaí bowl - which is a solid choice!

Had the charcoal Oreo puffle and the hot mess puffle sooo good! Please come here it’s so decadent.

The drink that I bought was pretty good. It was a lychee green tea with boba and the sweetness was at a good level even at normal percentage. Very busy at times though, no indoor seating, but fast orders when it comes to drinks it seemed like.

The place was pack. The staff that took the order was friendly. We ordered the Matcha Smoothie without Suger and it's still sweet, the Smoothie was not great it's ok.

Cute dessert shop on Convoy with very friendly staff. Honey oolong milk tea was solid, tasted strongly of honey. The puffle was pretty much what I expected, not life changing but hit the spot when we were craving something sweet. Definitely not a bad option for stopping by after a meal on Convoy.

Pricy and doesn’t taste good at all. For comparison, I ordered Thai tea and I found it too sweet, and the boba is very hard. The ones at Thai restaurants are much better!

The puffles are very good and have been coming here for a few years. The only issue is you can’t sit anywhere to enjoy it. Wish they would do indoor seating because otherwise you need to sit in your car to have it or walk around the area.

Got some very good & original drinks (: just wish ya could choose ice and sweetness levels.

The waffle for the puffle didn’t really taste like anything, it didn’t really taste good, but it added to the texture of the whole cup which was nice

Fairly typical Boba and beverage house menu wise. Variety of teas, smooties, and puffles.

Prices were pretty good compared to other similar shops, the drinks were sweeter than expected but you can lower your sweetness level.

The real standout of the shop is speed. The staff delivered almost before our party finished ordering.

Had the dragon fruit smoothie and it was excellent. Didn’t taste like they added much to get the flavor. Just sweet fresh dragon fruit. So good.

We got the taro with almond milk and the purple oreo dessert which had a waffle, taro ice cream regular vanilla ice cream with bits of oreo and mochi. I loved the taro ice cream in the purple taro dessert, it was so delicious!

Dang. Double dang. This place is good. Quick and friendly service. Super clean. The flavor combinations are incredible. Serving sizes are perfect. Sweetness is right on the money. All this tucked away in such an unassuming little corner of Convoy St. Highly recommend coming to Boba Bar and Desserts and sampling the flavors here.

Food/Pricing - On the pricier side. $6.73 (including tax) for a regular size Thai Tea Smoothie. Tasty but I'd want to try out another drink next time.

Service/Ambiance - Friendly and quick service! Drinks came out fast.

Parking - Parking lot is busy but didn't take long to find a spot.
