Steak House Bobo's reviews
14Food was good a little expensive. If you order sides keep in mind they are big enough for 2 people so we ended up with a whole table of food.
The humble macaroni and cheese side is one of the greatest steak house sides around, while there are very good cuts of dry aged beef and excellent Dungeness crab. Restaurant is a bit too cozy/tight - get ready to be an unwilling participant in neighboring conversations:)
Had dinner w my fake boyfriend here. Amazing steak. Good carpaccio. Bad, bad guy. Just a really bad guy.but gooood restaurant. I will return to enjoy again, someday.without him.
Wow! A wonderful high end restaurant. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. The food, the service and the ambience is exactly what you expect.
Best steak house in SF. Can’t beat the crab and the bone in rib eye. Not a cheap a dinner but absolutely worth it.
Totally recommend if you are a crab and lobster lover!
Original place to have dinner with your friends!
I had an amazing experience. The service was amazing. The food was outstanding. Also they have a parking lot. A FREE parking lot! I LOVE this ace the Decor was so cool. I had the wedge, the Bone in NY, brussle sprouts, mashed potatoes and the bread with Olives it was all OUTSTANDING.
I absolutely love everything about Bobo's! Nice ambiance, and I personally love the harlequin decor. It is hands down my favorite place for the best crab ever! Hot, flavorful, and melts in your mouth good! OMG. The crispy crab cakes are incredible! The bread served with garlic and capers and olive oil is yummy! The drinks (sidecar) are perfect, and the service is excellent! Whenever I'm in SF, Bobo's is my got to happy place!
This was the most absurd dining experience of my life.
I don’t even know where to start… but, I guess I’ll start at the end since the experience got worse with every passing moment.
At the end of my meal, I used the single restroom near the kitchen. I heard the person in front of me flush and come out immediately without washing their hands. He was on the kitchen staff. RAD.
They charged us for an extra $55 steak we didn’t order.
I ordered a bone-in filet at medium, it was served with one half well done and the other rare… like how? !
The Creamed corn was frozen and flavorless.
The mashed potatoes were fine.
The bread was disgusting… again, how? !
I ordered a club soda and it came in a plastic bottle.
The wedge salad was an awful iceberg knot with grocery store dressing and brown tomatoes.
The decor and music are foul… I don’t even know what to say beyond that.
My dad ordered a lemon drop that he said tasted like sewer water.
And, this experience cost $330.
My absolute favorite restaurant in the city. The service, food, and atmosphere are definitely the reasons for checking out Bobo's.
Best filet mignon I’ve ever had and the best lobster my daughters ever had. The deserts decadent but not heavy. Nothing was over seasoned. Wonderful service and wait staff. I look forward to dining here again
Outstanding meal! This was by far the best filet and dining experience I have had in the US! Kudos to the staff for being very personable and making our evening special!
Classic local steakhouse feel. Enjoyed the bone in ribeye and had a decent bottle of wine. Cooked medium rare as ordered.
Spent a lot of money here with a family of four, and was extremely disappointed.
Two of us ordered the 9oz filets med/ rare and we had to send them back twice because they were cold. I explained we didn't order blue but medium rare. You would think a high end steak restaurant would know the difference.
After the reheating our steaks for the second time they tasted terrible.
The mashed potatoes were watery like they added too much milk or something.
I was thoroughly disappointment in this restaurant and won't return.
