Bob's Cycle Center, Fair Oaks CA

A lot of people in the bike community don’t care much for E bikes, and neither do these guys at Bob’s. I went in looking for a spoke wrench and the guy working said “ since your riding a motorcycle, you should try a motorcycle shop “. Appreciate the help bobs, plenty of other bike shops that understand customer service!

Instead of putting a bad rate to the other bike shop where I spent 40 minutes today just to refund tube because they put only one inexperienced guy to the cashier on the weekend when a bunch of clients standing and waiting while will they be served I will give 5 stars for Bob’s Cycle Center which has an amazing customer service and make everything to save your time! Thank you!

Brought in the kids mountain bike in for a little tlc. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. My son was back in the saddle within a half an hour!

Bob's Cycle Center stepped up. Service after the sale. I was greeted by Nathan, he was very helpful and accommodating. Left my Giant Explore E-Bike because the motor was noisy. Got a call from Greg who said he took it for a long ride and agreed the motor was noisy. He reached out to Giant to get it taken care of. A couple of weeks later he called and said I was good to go. Couldn't be happier with the professional service, from the sales staff to the service department. I've been in business in the area for 40 plus years and I know that you don't just get a good reputation, you earn it! Thanks again! -Bill.

A friend mine told me about this shop years ago and I finally took my Fuji cross in for a tune up and was looking to change to flat handlebars as well.
Before I asked Greg asked me how he could help.
He suggested a few adjustments and parts a few days later my bike is like altogether new. Everything fits perfect and rides better than ever.
Everyone was helping someone and all super friendly.

I called the shop to ask if they could true up the front wheel of my bike. They quoted me a price but told me that they probably wouldn't even charge me, stating they might be able to have it turned around within minutes, depending on how busy it was when I arrived. Needless to say, I was impressed right out of the gate. When I dropped it off the next day, they said it would be a few hours, and asked if I could come back later to pick it up. I returned later when they notified me that it was done, and they ended up charging me for the service (which I didn't have a problem with). As I was rolling my bike out of the shop, I noticed the front wheel was still very wobbly. I asked the guy about it, and he admitted that he couldn't get it straight. I thought it was odd that he charged me for a service that didn't fix the problem and that he wasn't forthright about the situation until I mentioned something, but I decided not to make a big deal out of it. However, after riding it home, I realized the wheel was just as bad as when I brought it to them in the first place, and the rotor was rubbing on the brakes pretty bad. I called the shop to ask if they would consider refunding my money, but the guy said there was nothing he could do about it. I then decided to email the management regarding my experience, but after 2 weeks and 2 separate emails, they still have not bothered to respond to me. Considering this is a small locally owned business, I would have hoped they would be more concerned with their customer experience. Clearly, they don't care about integrity nor quality service, and a small amount of money is more important to them than their reputation.

Great mechanics and friendly service. Great to know there are still independent bike stores still around.

The people were friendly and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me to ensure I got the perfect bike.
I went there without knowing what I wanted. They listened, made recommendations, and helped me pick the right bike and accessories.
