The worst experience of my lifetime. I spent over $20K buying a sectional, dinning table and chairs, outdoor furniture, and bar stools. I was told they make all their furniture in Denmark and that's the reason I purchased the items from the store, that was a Lie! They make their furniture in China. Everything that was sold to me under false pretenses were in fact Chinese made furniture. But that was just the start of my awful experience with BoConcept and this store.

Even after making a full payment after receiving confirmation furniture was ready for delivery, no one ever called me to arrange a deliver. I had to call the warehouse manager twice. When I did finally receive the furniture, there were items that were not delivered, even though I was told all my items are ready. They said they'll deliver them later, but they never did. Another Lie! The day of the delivery the person installing the equipment was unprofessional, unhelpful, and throw away the screws that are needed to unhook the table, which luckily we caught him.

After the delivery weeks ago and I don't hear about the reminder of them items that were not delivered. After multiple emails, I was told they called me to deliver, but couldn't reach me. Anther Lie! Finally, I had to go to the store to pick up the remining items that I've paid $250 for white glove delivery. No apology was ever offered by the franchisee or the salesperson. Absolutely zero Customer Service!

Shortly after, the sectional started making noise, it go worse daily. Reached out to the salesperson, was told to send a video, then another video (they're into videos) to capture the noise. Was redirected to another person in the company, then another person, then back to the salesperson again, and finally to the owner of the store in Costa Mesa. They said they will come look at the sectional and fix it. They did not show up on time to the appointment, and came thirty minutes late and I had to leave for a meeting.

By far, this has been the most horrible and the worst customer service experience of my lifetime. This company will lie to you about the origin of the product they try to sell you, lie to you about the warranty from the manufacture, not value you as a customer at all, and just give you the round around when you bring an issue about their Chinese made over priced product. Their corporate office is even worse. They pass the blame and liability to the franchisee, and just waste your time. Stay the hell away from this store and BoConcept all together, and do let yourself be defrauded by this company.

Boconcept is quality with chic modern design. Our sales woman in Costa Mesa April Crook was wonderful to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products and helpful without being pushy or aggressive. The experience of working with her really helped us make a quick confident decision. We love our new sofa.

As a big fan of Scandinavian furniture and designs, I love the styles in this store.

We ended up purchasing a chandelier and a wall system, and had a great experience overall. April Leonard was awesome and tremendously helpful throughout the entire process!

Love my new coffee table. The family room looks way bigger now. Rony is the perfect interior design advisor. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but also very patient, I can be a pain:). The white glove delivery was a breeze. It is not cheap ($250) but it is worth every penny.

We had such a great experience from start to finish. April helped us and was so patient. We had our toddler with us which was a bit distracting. She gives good design advice too and looked at photos of our space and other furniture. We even made changes to the quote a few times. In the end we loved how it all turned out! And the delivery guys were also very nice and professional! Recommend this store and April! They also came pretty quickly considering the supply issues right now!

… it took me a few months trying to find the perfect benches for my new store for the dressing rooms. I went to all furniture stores in OC, also looked on line and didn’t see anything until I walked in this store and there was the perfect bench! April was amazing. Beautiful store with some unique pieces, good quality and great prices. Highly recommend.

Terrible communicators. I bought a dining table with an expected delivery date. Their delivery was delayed until after I was leaving town for a while, so the salesperson assured me they could hang on to it until I was back. The trip dragged on due to travel restrictions during Covid, but forward to when I’m back in town, the salesperson is gone, and the table is gone. In fact, they claimed I already picked it up (I did not). There was never any notice from them that the table was being disposed of. I get shunted around to different phone numbers and emails, and told that the there is nothing that can be done, but that the owner would call me back. This, of course, never happens. No call, no table, no refund, no apology.
Look – you’ll *probably* be fine with your purchase, but is it worth taking the chance?

Very happy with my BoConcept Studio! Stephanie helped me out along with the rest of the team to customize my design and make the most out of my small square footage. Very please. Also, the follow up was fantastic in making sure that I was satisfied with my set up!

Worst experience ever! Especially with the management! Bought a bed and a mattress from them. Told me that the mattress was double sided and a king size, got it at home and definitely smaller than the bed, not a king size and definitely not double sided with 3 little holes in it and dirty in the corner. Finally was able tu return it after going to their store 2/3 times a week for almost a month and instead of getting my money back and some apologies, the store manager, James, tells me that he is only able to give me a store credit.

My purpose in sharing this review is twofold: first, to explain my experience with the team and the product, and second, to address some of the criticism levied in other reviews.

I was in the market for a new bar stool for my elevated computer desk and randomly wandered in BoConcept about three months ago. I quickly found one I liked (the Adelaide model). Chris was on the floor and helped explain the options in terms of leather, colors, etc. I placed the order and he gave me an estimated delivery date about two months out due to supply chain issues. Everything takes longer for delivery right now. No problem.

When the delivery date arrived, I contacted the store via email to inquire about the ETA. Kevin from the warehouse quickly emailed me back with an updated ETA, which was just a week or two out. If you live in southern California, you know that a lot of ships are stuck at the Long Beach port, which is no fault of BoConcept's. Kevin and I emailed back and forth a few times over the holidays and he was always prompt, courteous, and willing to answer any questions I had.

The chair eventually arrived at the Costa Mesa showroom just about two weeks after the original delivery estimate, which, considering both the supply chain issues and the holidays, seemed perfectly reasonable to me. The pickup process was easy.

The quality of the chair / bar stool is fantastic. I see other reviews here lamenting high prices, but I wonder what the thought process was behind going to an upscale designer store if these shoppers were looking for bargain prices. IKEA is right down the street if you'd like to wander around a soulless warehouse for a mass-produced table made of cardboard. The leather on the Adelaide is very fine, the construction of the chair is solid, and I look forward to having it as a centerpiece of the room for years to come. The mechanism that allows the seat to spin is so smooth, which seems like a stupid thing to comment upon, but it just shows the quality of the machining on the piece.

I'd recommend BoConcept to anyone looking for high-quality designer furniture. Yes, you will spend a premium on these items, but they look incredible, feel even better, and seem to be made with love. I look forward to shopping at BoConcept in the future and thank both Chris and Kevin for their help.

My experience at BoConcept in Costa Mesa was very good. My wife and I bought the Madrid coffee table with a ceramic top as well as the Bermuda ottoman in leather. We worked primarily with Stephanie, but Lisandro and Rony also helped answer questions. Overall, we found them to be knowledgeable and professional.

After initially buying the ottoman in fabric, we changed our minds two times before choosing a semi-aniline leather (and this was after purchasing and signing off on the paperwork). Stephanie was patient and understanding. We appreciated that the team addressed our questions directly and let us take our time with the purchase.

The style of BoConcept speaks for itself. The quality of many pieces also looks quite good, with most materials coming from Europe and Latin America. We expect delivery in February.

I visited the store yesterday, was looking for a sofa for our new home. The sales were chatting and not happy to answer my questions. You have better choices at the same plaza. DWR and Room Board. I would never come again.

Bought my desk 2 weeks ago and it is super unsturdy. I picked it up in the showroom and found my desk is unpacking and full of dust! Is it really a new desk?
Also I just found this desk is on sale now, 15% off! Salesperson from Design Within Reach told me about their semi-annual event when I was trying to place an order. They saved my money!
Really disappointed about the shopping experience! Does anyone know how to get price match?

My desk was on display in their showroom when I picked it up. The salesperson did not help me clean it. All I got with $2000 is a dusty, unsturdy and overpriced desk with worst service.
