Bodega R Ranch Market reviews
13Horrible experience I will make sure myself or my family don’t ever shop at this lousy store. It is dirty, the meat department smells like rotten meat and the staff including the manager or owner is EXTREMELY unprofessional just rude. Pls don’t shop here you will regret it!
I was in shock and disbelief when I saw the owner of the bodega yelling and being so very disrespectful towards a lady apart of the church community for selling tickets for St. Agatha’s fall festival. Not only the owner, but the workers as well humiliated and laughed at her as well. I felt so bad when i watched the lady leave in tears and embarrassment. She had done nothing wrong and didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly especially by the owner. Not only was she helping the church but she was a customer of the store as well. Terrible customer service! Can’t believe it.
It is so sad to see that the owner of this establishment does not support the community or recognize that we all need each other. Today in a very humiliating manner the owner told the security and employee to tell a young lady selling raffle tickets for our local church to leave in front of everyone. I am a member of that church and supported the fundraiser just like I support the market by shopping there. I thought that the market supported the community. I'll think twice about visiting them next time.
The only store I've ever seen to sell expired dairy for 99 cents. Aren't they supposed to throw out dairy a week before it expires instead of putting it up for sale! That's insane!
Meat department has a bad odor, wouldn't recommend anyone to buy any meat from this place!
The employees have attitude from the food and one of the owners or who ever he is, he is so disrespectful specially to woman and we will make sure that everyone from the neighborhood finds out and he gets removed from here. It's full of expired things and full of things it's such a Hazard for the customers.
Today is October 3rd, I bought a sour cream and it expired on the same day which is crazy because that's dairy other stores would pull them off the shelves a week before the expired date. Why would they be selling dairy thats expired they should pull them.
The meat department smells horrible
I wouldn't trust buying any meat here it looks dirty too. Make sure you get the deal prices because they always ring up way more trust me it happened a few times sadly.
THE MEAT WAS ACTUALLY GREY AROUND THE EDGES AND THE FROZEN SECTION SMELT LIKE MEAT ON THE VERGE OF GOING BAD. THE MEXICAN BREAD WAS GOOD. BUT THE WHOLE STORE FROM THE GLASS WINDOWS TO THE FLOOR TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLES APRONS COULD USE A GOOD CLEANING.
I VISITED A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS SO CLEAN.
Neighborhood Bodega with fresh produce, nice selection of meats and seafood friendly service clean and well-kept.
Prices are too high taking advantage of the neighborhood prices are cheaper at the store on Hauser and West Adams
Small market, restaurant and bakery.there is also a Boost Mobile little store in there. Most likely it will not carry all of your ingredients for your big meal.but it will have mostly anything that is essential in a person's kitchen.
Didn't matter whether I spoke English or Spanish the staff was not friendly. I got some tacos from the deli, they were a good size but the meat was cold and tough. Disappointing.
I really wish they would take this market down and put a better market like Superior Grocers since it's so close to my house. The prices for food here is quite high and the quality isn't the best. Do not order the hot food here it is always stale and old but they have the nerve to charge a high price which is ridiculous. I've bought meat here once and the chicken stinks, even when cooking it at home like gross I won't ever buy meat here again.
My family doesn't come here often because we end up paying too much and you can find way better deals at other grocers for the same items you get here. I'm Mexican so I love Latino markets but this is the worst one I've ever visited to be completely honest.
