Boiling Point reviews
20I'm not sure why these places are so popular, the soup is very spicy and you barely can enjoy the flavor of the soup just because your nose is running like crazy.
I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I must say the customer service is always excellent and they keep the spot well kept constantly. Prices are fair and they serve sizeable portions.
First time trying hot pot and it was great haha. This place is a little small so get there quick but everything was really good, I've been in Korea Town for the longest and I finally tried booking point and oh man I've been missing out. If you haven't tried this place and want to try something new I highly recommend.
I'm the fan of this restaurant. But i usually go to the Pasadena location. So it's first time here in Monterey Park. So taste always yumm service here is fine. Only one thing is staff more smile please!
No flavor. And when I asked for salt and pepper they denied it to me. Saying they did not offer any. I asked if there was some in the back and they had the manager come out, also with an attitude to tell me that is the way it was served, nothing else. Will never step foot into here again. Cocary is down the street from.this place and it is 1000% better flavored and great customer service.
Love the seafood and tofu one. Delicious! Staff are nice, not too friendly though, well some are.
Place taste amazing but it's a little pricy for the amount of veggies and lack of meats they put in your hot pot.
Alright customer service, alright taste, alright parking spots, alright seating spots. Overall, it is alright.
Freezing cold inside. Bring a jacket! This place also has one of the WORST SERVICE I have ever seen. The waiters and waitresses are rude, unfriendly, forgetful, and unhelpful. It took them twenty minutes to get me ice water, and it was warm and all they gave me was a small Styrofoam cup's worth. Then I had to wait another twenty minutes for them to bring me another! The food is okay. The lunch deal comes with a drink and is more worth your money than dinner
The atmosphere could be better. The stools are not comfortable and the tables waddled. The food is quite good and the service is fine. It was very cold inside though. Food is a four star. Atmosphere is. 2.5 stars.
The food is okay and the service is fair. Like the other reviews. Too many vegetable. Not worth for the price. Waiting 20mins is a bit long.
Updated: compared to the Pasadena one, this one is actually pretty good.
Hotpot portion is small and pricey, uses to be ok, now there more vegetables and less meat, not worth the price
The service is fast and I like their way of handling the wait list. I usually order mild, but it's still a little spicy.
First time here, the food was great. Customer service was good, We plan on going back in October on our next visit
The soups taste good (unlimited refill for your soup when you dine in), multiple varieties including vegan option. Their drinks are not bad either. Service can be slow when crowded, but usually friendly. Lunch special include a regular green or black tea. However there is almost always a wait during meal hours. The dinner price has increased so much over the years though, I don't think it's truly worth the price any more.
Space is very limited here, but you can usually still get seated with not much of a wait. Very easy to grab a server's attention if you need anything and they're all very compliant.
One of my monthly visit place, Food is so good! Better come n before 6: 30 pm for dinner, otherwise have to wait
Price range is right at the middle $30 for 2. Price for this place have been going up and up check before you come.
This is the best Boiling point in my opinion. Less crowded, fast service. I order Korean soup. Very nice kimchi soup base.
