But the location is really good
When we got there the roof of the shower had fallen in. There was plaster in the tub and all. When we called they pretended to not understand. They told us there were no additional rooms. The maintenance maid lady took forever to check it out. They upgraded our room immediately but explained how there could be no refunds. It wasn't an upgrade at all it just had 2 beds.
The place is filthy and stinks. The photos they put up on the website are deceiving. They also charge $100 deposit extra. Keep off this place!
Total dissapointment- Room smelled like a hospice.the bathroom had an ant infestation.the towels were about 1000 uses past its time.they were like sand paper. No microwave, no iron nor ironing board.no complimentary breakfast. Absolutely terrible. I only stayed two days as this place is just nasty all around.any great reviews must be created in house. The bed mattress needs to be replaced probably a long time ago.there is also a take it or leave it attitude from the staff. No seems to dominate the culture at this hotel.
There is no refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee machine and hair dryer in the room, and a deposit is required, speechless.
Service was awful. They had a night window with no one attending. Our room was a lot worse than shown. Had a smell. Staff were not serviceable or understanding at all, just gave us looks. We had travelled all the way from AZ and were welcomed to the worst.
The only nice thing about Bokai is the price, and the phrase “you get what you pay for” proves itself again. When we entered the room there were stains on lampshades and the mattresses. However, no bed bugs! The floor was never swept, crumbs and chips on AC unit and on the floor everywhere. I had to ask to vacuum and for towels and was told at one point they were out of towels. I’m glad that my friends and I were able to laugh at this response, I know that others may not think this would be as funny. Staff were nice but the cleaning staff seem lazy and would take towels away when replacing with new ones, leaving less than what we said we needed. When we needed 4 they would take 3 and replace with 2. I would book again due to the safe-ish area of Rosemead and proximity to boba shops and restaurants, not anything related to the hotel itself.
How could possibly customers rate 3 stars?
Room extremely old, dirty, dust and small trash in the corners. Restroom is barely acceptable, mattresses are so soft because they are too old not bc of firmness. Property is so old and dangerous. I saw someone’ car riot smashed the back window. It was very nice SUV BMW. I would not recommend this hotel. Pay a little more for a better hotel in better area to save your car’s window.
The only thing is property has gate but not for cars.
It is very convenient to be on the edge of Highway 10. There are several large supermarkets, Chinese supermarkets and restaurants right next to the hotel. It is also very convenient. The guest rooms are a bit old, but overall they are clean and tidy.
They tell tou what you want to hear to get your money, once they charge it the pain begins. $100.00 deposit, the room doesn't have what you ask for etc.
Hotel and experience not bad overall. Had damage done to my vehicle on there property. Back glass window was shattered let the front office know about the damages that were done to my vehicle. Front office did nothing Very angry customer.
There is no breakfast or restaurant but there is a restaurant right in front of the hotel. The pictures of the pool area is very deceiving it looks exactly like the picture but not as clean the rooms have a smell and they're not as nice as the picture. Overall it's a good place to stay if you have nowhere else to go and it's a cheap price.
Location is great, lot of shops and food places around. Service wasn't bad as far as checking in. Rooms are exactly what you paid for. Old box spring, cabinets falling apart, stains on bed sheets, towels, and walls. A/c works well tho.
My experience here was actually horrible, first, i got placed into a sketchy looking room and it was so dirty, there were stains in almost every spot.they clearly don’t sweep the floors either.i also started to get really itchy, the vibes and smell there were definitely horrible.when me and other people say it was a horrible experience staying there, we mean it!
Far from L. A.
Dirty bedding
Few water in bath shower.
Nothing inside The room: no mini fridge, no microwave, no tea or Coffee, as others motel/hotel.
Don't come.
Not recommended. The room did not look clean, there was bugs on the bed biting us. Whenever we check in or check out at the reception, the guy I was either napping on the couch or front desk. Also you will need to prepare $100 in cash for deposit.
This place is next to lots of great food and prices are reasonable for the room. Over all it was good
Tv dont work room look like they didnt clean it the smell was bad I went to talk to the guy at from so they will change me from room parking is not that much since the restaurant is next is reasky the place never stay there againg they need to put atetion to the rooms they charge too much for a low room with only antena
Horrible place to stay! There’s nobody here at checkin after midnight, all the lights are OFF, even if you call, knock or ring the doorbell, nobody is here!
