Bolsa Chica Conservancy reviews
17 Interesting investigation of caterpillars.
Today I saw a coyote, stingrays and a school of fish over a foot long.
The water was high and there was a nice cool breeze near the ocean. Always a nice place to visit.
The vegetation has really grown out.
Great place for a jog or just a short walk/hike to observe many species of birds and other wildlife.
Enjoyed exhibits at the Visitors Center. A great place to hike out of the summer inland heat with a good view over the beaches. Suggest hiking with the spring bloom; it would be more interesting. Also, morning or late afternoon for more wildlife.
Beautiful and well maintained. Uneven walking surface, so may be difficult for someone with mobility needs. Not crowded at all on a weekday afternoon, lots of birds and lizards, and benches with information boards along the way. Mostly flat terrain with ocean views. A great place to visit for walking and/or sitting and enjoying nature.
They are trying hard but need alot more volunteers for the trash that comes off the beach. They have clean ups twice a month.
Came here with our homeschool group for a guided tour. What a fun place and all the staff members were friendly and knowledgeable.
Went here to take some family pics, we had 8 kids with us. Ranged from 2-12. A lady that works there came over and warned us about the bluff and the dangers of it, told the kids not to play over there. We understood and asked them to come back to us closer to the trail. My nephew was in a patch of weeds, and the worker rudely said that’s not the trail. He took a step over and she said that’s still not the trail, just her tone was off. He was in some weeds within a step of the trail. Either way, we obliged and thought that was a weird interaction but we went on and walked across the bridge only to find a homeless man with 3 black garbage bags off the trail… I guess she wanted to use her authority on someone who would listen.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff at the center. Interesting exhibits. Much wildlife on the property.fish, egrets, pelicans.
Had a great time with my daughter and her class. Only thing that cut my trip short was the disrespect I received while trying to get directions from the visitor center to the other side. Other than that, learning about the nesting, the grass that grows there, and the plankton were very interesting especially since Earth day is around the corner.
Very interesting and fun spot to walk the wetlands. Nice parking area, restrooms and interpretive area.
If you love the smell of fresh flowers with ocean breeze, this is your place to enjoy a nice walk along with bird watching
This is a gem of a place right across from the ocean. Very easy hike with different paths. These beautiful wetlands in Huntington Beach are wonderful to visit.
Free parking. Free admission. What more can you ask for. They have a few saltwater tanks that have locally caught fish in them. Local reptiles also in cages for you to look and observe.
Even though the reserves have garbage near the streams, it was still very beautiful. Also there are some bat rays in the ocean or lakes.
There are many beautiful birds to be seen here, as well as reptiles and flora. There are 4 miles of trails that loop around the Reserve.
Fabulous bird watching, close views of waders, pelicans allotted birdlife, good for photography
Fun visit for some nature, but please make sure not to litter. You can donate, at the entrance, and parking may be tight so you might have to pay to park at the city lot across the street. Fun for the kids, and fun for the family, especially depending on what you see that day. Be prepared to walk on mostly dirt trails.
A truly beautiful place to enjoy nature! Lots of trails and panoramic wetland and ocean views.
Nice paved paths you can walk while also seeing the beautiful scenery. Also a small visitor center with real wildlife.
This is a gem of a place right across from the ocean. This is a well-used piece of land for public and habit for birds and other wildlife. There are many water ways for all kinds of birds to make this their home. The trails are nice walking or running paths, and you can surely get your daily steps in here while enjoying the scinery and wildlife. Make sure you stay on the trails as they have a group that is restoring the grasses, etc. There are two parking areas, There is an information building on warner where I parked, and they have some animals in there, and the people are super helpful.
