Bonchon Mountain View reviews
28 Fried chicken is delicious! Crispy outside and tender inside.
Note: Spicy sauce is for real.
Bulgogi is not the best I had.
First time eating Korean fried chicken. Can't compare to other stores but the ones we ordered were pretty good. Crispy spicy and sweet chicken. Bulgogi beef was good and in big volume. Tasty food but the seating was quite uncomfortable. Bathroom needs cleaning too.
Chicken strips were very bland. Asked for sauce to make it edible and they tried charging 99¢. Very disappointing.
Very good and unique fried chicken! Crispy! Spicy seasoning is great, soy is okay, sweet seasoning tastes like it's candied though, and I would avoid that one.
Love the food and size of each dish. One plate is more than enough for two people. Korean street food at its finest.
Somehow I think the Sunnyvale location taste better, maybe more consistent. But this one is not bad too.
Tries to emulate Korean Fried Chicken (Kyochon Chain). The taste is similar but they miss the mark in the texture and dryness.
Their flavors are really good. It's just that the chickens are overcooked, a bit dry on the inside. I wish they were moist on the inside, then I would give it a 5 stars.
Pros:
- Good food.
- Off course good location since its in downtown and fancy place.
- Few staffs are good.
- We ordered spicy, garlic sauce wings.and chicken fried rice. Both were awesome.
Cons:
- Very limited space for sitting.
- Easily crowded and need to wait for while before you get seats. So make sure that you do booking earlier than you arrive.
Great place for wings. People who love wings should try this place. They don't use batter, which makes the wings notch healthier than the rest. Quantity is huge, so ensure you don't end up ordering too much.
Great Korean food, fair prices and good service. However the store is kinda dirty with flies buzzing around. Not the best atmosphere.
The wings are fantastic. Big fan of perfectly cooked wings without overwhelming sauce flavors. Bonchon does this - they cook their wings perfectly, without the need to drown out their imperfections with overwhelming flavors.
I'm also a fan of their japchei. It's not the best I've had, and it's a bit heavy on the soy, but it's still very good. Highly recommend.
Today is May 26th, the Time is 7 pm.the lady on the phone is very very anolnoying. She made me call three times and even drive to the place to make a pick up order.
I had the drumsticks. The outside is crunchy and flavorful, but the inside is just boring and doesn't train any of the sauce flavors. I think the one in Sunnyvale is better. Friendly, attentive staff, though! Next time I'll try something other than fried chicken.
Perfectly fried chicken. Definitely recommend calling ahead if you're taking it to go. Order is always on point and the food never disappoints!
Dudes and dudettes, this is BonChon chicken. This place is basically an institution at this point, and one of the best friend chicken places around. Don't even bother with the other items-the fried chicken is where it's at! I order a small combo half spicy half soy garlic and I can't finish it unless I'm starved!
Really was not impressed by the quality of the fried chicken here. Chicken was dry, the breading was too hard, and overpriced
The spicy chicken is straight up addictive. Pairs perfectly with the pickled radish. If you haven't had it before you owe it to yourself to try.
Delicious fried chicken at a great price! I often come here for lunch. Takoyaki and a small combo is plenty for 2 people and only costs $12/person.
The service is usually good and there are usually seats available.
Must try it at least once. Im from Florida where I would always get wings, so when I got to the bay area I wanted quality wings and I foud this place.i was skeptical beucase it didn't look like what I was used to BUT after trying it once I was hooked. The other items are the menu are delicious. I especially like the potstickers, fried rice, and the Japchae.
