Convenient location (so close to the visitor center and restaurants)! We spontaneously booked a one night stay here and it was lovely! The only trouble is when we arrived around 6: 30pm, no one was in the office. We called the after-hours phone line so many times and no one picked up!
We decided to drive to get dinner first and someone called us then. They made the check-in process easy from there. There is a code on the door.

There is a spacious parking lot and so many cute decorations to take pictures with and of.
The room itself was spacious and was cute.

We appreciated the breakfast so much cause it was brought to us in a tray and the weather was perfect to eat it outside. It was a tasty breakfast and their granola seemed home made!

Would definitely come back but it is pricey.

You could def just view stars in your enclosed backyard cause the whole city purposely doesn’t have bright lights on. I appreciated that so much!

My boyfriend and I had the best vacation of our lives at this place! The rooms are gorgeous and cozy. We went during the hottest time of the year and spent all our time at the pool! It was even warm enough to swim in at night. The views from the pool were breathtaking. Perhaps my favorite part was spending the early morning on our private patio. You are also given a delicious and hardy breakfast delivered right to your door at a time you select. The breakfast included these delicious, fluffy croissants that I still dream about to this day. There's nothing better than waking up, stepping outside onto your patio on a nice warm morning and watching the colors of the sky change with the sunrise! The staff at Borrego Valley Inn are friendly and professional. I scheduled another trip here but we unfortunately had to cancel a couple months before going. The process was quick and easy. The staff who handled my cancellation were responsive and kind. I can't wait to rebook and come back during the summer!

Adults seeking a quiet space to relax, this is it! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful property, clean rooms and self check-in deserves 5 stars!

I have been caling them and leaving messages every other day for over a month in an attempt to reschedule my booking. No one has ever returned my calls. I had stayed there prior and had a great experience, so this was really dissapointing.

Came here for a surprise birthday trip, I thought the inn was great. I love the desert, and we were right in the middle of it. Very close to some nature hikes (though super hot to do so last time). The room was very spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. The room also had a kitchenette and microwave, and the air conditioning worked perfectly too. They have two pools, one for regular use and one for clothing optional and they bring breakfast in the morning. I would definitely come back here again and explore more of the area or bring my camera for better photos.

I recently returned here after discovering it two decades ago. I was so pleased that it had the same beauty and tranquility that I remembered. Absolutely one of my favorite places on earth! It's like a little slice of heaven when you are there, the perfect place to relax and recharge especially for introverts. It's very peaceful, quiet and adults-only with a meditative atmosphere where you can enjoy stunning sunrises, sunsets and stargazing. Everything from the rooms to the grounds to the surrounding scenery is just beautiful, and there is a calmness that stays with you long after you leave. Breakfast was delivered to our doorstep. The pools and hot tubs are wonderful. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park visitors' center is conveniently located just down the road. I can't wait to return and definitely will not wait so long to do so next time!

Spent a night here while road tripping through the desert. The rooms were quite comfortable and it was nice having a kitchenette. Each room has a small but private outdoor patio which was great for stargazing. They have two pool/hot tub areas, one of which is clothing optional. But of all of the amenities they offer, the main is peace and quiet. I'm not sure if we just hit them at an off-time but I was struck by how relaxing this place was, even only with one night. As an added bonus, children aren't allowed at the property.

Pleasant rooms, relaxed atmosphere, no pets, no children. A quiet oasis in the Mojave Desert.

Quiet, nice comfortable bed, very good continental breakfast left at your door each morning, large pools. Location is perfect between town and the park. Dark sky right outside in your own private patio.

The room was clean, spacey and comfortable. The hotel overall has a nice location. The breakfast was great.

Even though I've lived in California for pretty much ever, I had no idea that the Anza-Borrego State Park even existed. At the last minute (this past December, 2021) my husband and I had to cancel our trip to Hawaii amid new fears of the Omnicron variant, and we wanted something that was not too far away, warm, and could heal our disappointed souls. We found ABSOLUTE PERFECTION in the Borrego Valley Inn! The gorgeous adults only boutique property has 15 beautiful, tastefully crafted rooms, two pools, two jacuzzis, and breakfast is delivered to your room. The Inn setting is incredibly peaceful, and the town of Borrego Springs is lovely and welcoming. We were really shocked and delighted at the quality of the restaurants, golf, hiking, and exquisite natural beauty. Borrego Valley Inn is truly a GEM in every way, and we have already started planning our return visit to this magical spot. It really is an incredible desert oasis.

Beautiful adult only experience gorgeous rooms two beautiful pools one of which is clothing optional we were there two nights and we were the only couple to use the clothing optional pool but the view and the scenery you can't beat.we saw three coyotes just wondering down the dirt path it was great breakfast is a little to be desired for because frozen fruit and blueberry muffins are not my thing but all-in-all Amazing Adventure I would definitely go back

This is a really nice property, a very nice size, a great location if you are going to explore Anza Borrego State park, and a lovely respite from camping and being in the outdoors! It is quite tastefully decorated and the room was bright with light and a nice size. Our room had a little private back patio and nice clean tiled floors - seems as if it has probably been remodeled lately, or at least just nicely maintained and cleaned.

Unfortunately, they fell down a bit on the follow through with my booking. I booked a deluxe king room with jaccuzi and all seemed on track until the day of my stay. I got the room number and code that morning - and then I was switched (presumably, out of my room with the jaccuzi‽) into a different room with no jaccuzi, which we had been really looking forward to for a romantic escape. Further, the water from the shower ended up running downhill the entire way across the bathroom toward the toilet (there is no dividing lip), so we had to walk very gingerly in the bathroom throughout our stay. I slipped rather alarmingly twice and could have used more towels or bath mats to block the flow of the water across the room, but it was not clear if there was anyone on site to help. Otherwise I really loved the property, just felt like I was disappointed by this room switch and either taken advantage of or shuffled to the side.

But if you are not particular about the trappings of your room and that they match what you reserve, I do recommend this place. They put out a really lovely little breakfast for us on a tray, and the bed was comfy. It was extremely peaceful and I loved the dark sky aspect of the community.

Updated: They responded to my review and said they "value me as a customer", but did not refund the unauthorized charge on my account (or respond to my email about it). So I call B. S.and will definitely not be returning. Customer service definitely not a strength of this place, although marketing may be.
I've stayed here twice and not had any issues during my stay. However, after my last visit I noticed an additional charge on my bill. When I contacted the Inn, they said an item (breakfast tray) was missing from my room, the implication being that I stole it, which I didn't (it's not even a particularly nice tray - certainly not something I would commit a crime for). I'm assuming someone who works there misplaced or stole it, but the Inn wouldn't even consider this! So, be sure to check your statement when you leave.and maybe document all the cutlery and pillows and things are there at check out. I'm disappointed that they don't value customer loyalty, and not sure I'd be comfortable returning.
