I've come here a bunch and find it's always a reliable option in the area. Classic upscale american atmosphere inside. Nice standalone wine shop. Food is solid overall, but the shrimp and grits - AMAZING! - super cheesey with a cajun jus over top. I'll think about them for ages.

Very overpriced for the portions that are served. The cost of the wine and Cocktails is ridiculous. I would not go back to this location again but I do love the one in Napa

The atmosphere is like a cozy modern hunting lodge. There were not kids there, I'm not sure it's a good place for young kids. The appetizers were too greasy (fried mushrooms and brisket rolls) and I didn't care for the flavors. The prime rib was a generous cut, cooked nicely, and the potatoes were delicious.

First time diners. Absolutely surprising at the different styles of Asian and good old fashioned BBQ.

Highly recommend the brisket as well as the brisket eggrolls.

Great wine menu, as well as the old fashioned was top teir.

Only downside is it's in California.

I enjoyed the trio meal and the butterscotch desert. Oh, and the corn bread with jalapeños! Very yummy!

This place has sadly gone down hill fast. Was served 2 inedible dishes (cold broccoli and over the top spicy sunchokes). Best items like beer can chicken have been removed from menu. Extremely loud and difficult to hold a conversation.

We shared the BBQ plate sampler and calamari appetizer. It was delicious. Attentive service.

Sat at bar for 45 minutes and couldn’t get a food order in. Moderately busy. Servers couldn’t care less. Avoid if possible. Drinks were severely overpriced.

I've been then to Bounty three different times for dinner and they never disappoint. Great quality and very good service. The prices are probably fair for Walnut Creek, but definitely on the pricey side. $50 for a beer in the butt chicken - great flavor - seems very high. I remember not too long ago it was $30. But seem like all prices are high these days.

I ordered the Bounty Burger. It was cooked to order, but the toppings and sauce didn't really suit my taste. The service was uncoordinated. One waiter took our drink order, then another one came later to ask the same thing. This happened again with dessert. The wine list is extensive, but most of the wines I would consider average to good; only a few would be considered above average.

This is an elegant establishment. However, one was not pleased with the initial service. The reason that one visits a restaurant is to enjoy the ambiance, wait service, and quality food. When the restaurant experience is tainted by lack luster food, service, or atmosphere, then the restaurant will receive a subpar review.
Unfortunately, my first may be my last visit because of my gut-wrenching experience. The wait staff seated me and the family for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged our presence for over 30 minutes. We watch the family next to us, get waited on from head to toe. We watched in dismay as one by one as a waiter, manager, wine sommelier, and kitchen staff attended the guests next to us. One wanted to protest and storm out of this establishment never to return, but I did not want to make a scene on my daughter's birthday. Bounty Hunter ruined the moment. I reached out to a wait staff behind us and asked if we may get service. He obliged, and we were able to place our order. One saw a female who had the mannerisms of a manager and asked why we were not served. She had an immediate response for the lack of service. The waiter or waitress for our table was no longer available. If this was known, then it could have been convyed to my family, so we may not have felt ignored. Nevertheless, I ordered the pull chicken, and it was loaded with sodium. It was unpalatable and unpleasant. The manager apologized and removed it from my bill. The unpalatable food and lack of luster service was enough for me not to reconsider revisiting this establishment.

I was disappointed. Overpriced for the quality. The brisket was extremely fatty, and I doubt if it was even smoked…quite flavorless. The BBQ sauces were very weak, even watered down I suspect. If you’re looking for good BBQ don’t come here. Mediocre shopping mall food for the masses with upscale prices.

Had a lovely cocktail and tried the appetizers of fried chicken, truffle fries, and brisket springrolls

Smokey warm atmosphere with high-end smokehouse style plates. Some dishes were in a S. Louisiana cajun-style. Nice craft cocktails and creme brulee highly recommended.

I went on a Saturday around five and enjoyed the delicious breaded chicken and watermelon margaritas! Easy walk to movies after!

Nothing special here. The brisket was dry and tough, and the appetizer platter was weak, little bits of cheeze & apple, about 6 small olives, and a few slim slices of salami or something. The artichoke came burned, & the BBQ sauce was so runny it appeared to be watered down. This place is nice inside but the service & food is sub par.

I was really hoping this place was going to be worth of our anniversary dinner. Sadly it was underwhelming. My husband’s beer and the carrots were the highlights of our meal which cost $146. Our artichoke hearts were soggy and had very little meat for $15 price. The brisket came out cold, grey and very gristly. I had to spit out half of what I could eat. The coleslaw had no flavor. My husband’s prime rib was cooked okay but definitely not better than lesser expensive restaurants. Our waiter was friendly but unfortunately could not recover the let down of the experience from the kitchen. Sadly we will have to re-do our anniversary celebrating at another steakhouse.

Bounty Hunter might be my new favorite place in Walnut Creek. Great food, laid back atmosphere with classy decor.

5 stars for the outdoor dining area! Beautifully landscaped with coy fish pond! Come again just to sit outside again!
