Box Springs Mountain Reserve reviews
13Great place to hike for your exercise and fresh outdoor going. Bring water and snacks like oranges and grapes to stay hydrated. I I believe the trail is 3.3 mi? So be ready for a challenge. Not much parking but if you get in early there's no problem.
Okay place. Used to be better. The trails are in disrepair and need a lot of work. I also don't like that they want a parking fee; I know its an iron guard but I still feel guilty and I shouldn't have to pay for a public park. But besides that, it is really nice. The views are wonderful, and on a clear day, you get amazing 360° views.
The dirt roads up to the top of the mountain and antennas are easy to follow and make a great hike for some great views. Some people bring a second pair of shoes to keep the inside of the car cleaner. Other trails are harder to follow; it's easy to mistakenly start following a burro trail. I had to scramble to get a close up shot of the M. The M trail doesn't approach the white letter.
It's always a fun early morning hike. The views are amazing at all elevations. And, don't forget to take pictures or the wild donkeys roaming in the area.
Great hike! Great place to get away from it all. Wish people wouldn't litter and graffiti the park.
Pretty sure we saw a cougar here this afternoon? Just moved to the area so not super familiar but can anyone else confirm there may be cats living in these hills? Looks like a place I'd believe a cat would live!
Lovely trails!
Love it, there are so many trails and like they're challenging or chill options. Made it from M to C and back.
Great place to go hiking & the views are gorgeous. I sometimes walk my dog in the lower trails. There's a small unpaved parking area as you enter the park or you can on the residential streets nearby.
Beautiful mountain scenery, many trails to hike. Good place to be in the great outdoors. Public restrooms, tables to eat with the family, wild donkeys and more.
It is so difficult to find such place where no crowded. Especially in suffering from pandemic.
It's one of the few places to hike in Moreno valley but it's definitely the best IMO. Nice challenging hike if starting from the regional parking by hidden springs. Most gyms are closed so come here for a good workout.
Nice hike, just have to hike when ints not to hot because there is hardly any shade and bring enough water.
We took the trail that goes straight up. And it is VERY steep. Be prepared. Water. Stretching etc. And it's a lovely view!
