Brainseed Testing reviews
8 I did my GRE test here. Overall experience was good. It is winter now so I was not aware of the AC problem like others reported.
The checkin process was fast and they provide lockers. The test room is small and cardboard is used to extend the seperation between desks. Not too many people are taking the exam this week so my neighboring seats were empty. Computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse are all standard and working. I am not sure about the TOEFL experience though since their headset is quite worn out.
I used bathroom also. It is small but they do provide toilet paper
If you care about your score, do not take your test at this testing center! I repeat, do not do it to yourself. I took the test yesterday (or tried the first 30 minutes). I had a horrible experience, and I did many tests in my life, including a 4.5-hour bar exam.
So the restroom was clean, and the team was nice, and that was all for the positive.
The test was scheduled for 10 AM, which means it is supposed to start at 10 AM, right? But nope, this is not the case here. People came earlier, so the testers allowed them to begin the test before that, at 9: 15, which is not something the email mentioned. So basically, it was like a train station: someone went in every few seconds, the conditions were noisy, and the air conditioning was like a sauna. There are other things but those mentioned by others before me: small space between you and the other testers, barely space for the scratch paper etc.
Don’t take your exam here! I MEAN IT!
It doesn’t have the minimum required quality to be a test center. It will directly affect your performance. The desks are separated from each other by cardboards!
You move your feet an inch and you would touch the person next to you! The room is extremely small with no AC!
I don’t know if there is any worse test center than this one worldwide!
I should have thought to read the reviews. I had a pretty bad experience here. Off the bat, the testing center is a little hole in the wall. Walls are thin, desks are shaky, and the partitions between test takers is cardboard. Space for scratch paper is limited as desk space felt quite cramped. I have taken many standardized tests before and usually there is a strict protocol. Although they are nice, the proctors here seemed overly relaxed and I don’t believe we were really being monitored closely. This was a very important exam and due to the testing conditions it was almost impossible not to be distracted by the test taker next to me. The break area is very small and there isn’t even enough room to stretch your legs. No toilet paper in the bathroom. I definitely wouldn’t come here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone taking any important exams here.
They only allow 5 person in at a time and make the test taker wait outside wait forever. We arrived half an hour early for TOEFL test, it has been 10 min after the test start time and we haven’t get in.
Door was locked and no one at test center when I arrived 15 min before my test. When I called BrainSees they said the test Procter was sick and hopefully would come in later that day. No one called us or informed us with a plan. I had to reschedule my test for another day. Terrible customer service.
We had an appointment at 10: 00, and now is 10: 24, a long queue has been formed for more than 1 hour at cold Feb morning. No announcement from inside as to what happened and ETA. Not sure how this test center still qualifies hosting ETS tests.
I think it is the worst test center ever. I tried to take exam second time here, actually I couldn't. We have been waiting for 1,5 hours. Their system is down. They even didn't give us proper information and they are not canceling. We are still waiting. Also when I took the exam first time, I saw that their equipments are so old and dirty. Restrooms are terrible. They don't even have toilet papers. The room was not vantilated. My suggestion is you don't chose this exam center. You will regretted.
