Brandy Melville - Americana

They don’t greet you almost at all and none of them actually do their job. I worked retail for years and it’s obvious of how lazy the staff is. I definitely felt like I was treated differently as a woman of color as well. Not by all staff but some.

Nice clothes but it really feels like an inconvenience to shop there in person.the staff were really off-putting.they were on their phones right at the register and one of the workers was literally eating and using her phone while i was checking out.im a service worker too but i just found it really weird and unprofessional and i wanted to get out of there asap.

I had the worst experience of my life at this store.my two sisters and i walked in and it felt like time stopped, like i was moving in slow motion.the air was hot and it was so quiet all you could hear was the wood floor creaking.no one greeted us at the door or smiled.i knew they were secretly judging us.i felt so insecure walking around the store.i would not recommend.

Horrible experience that my daughter and sister encounter at this location. Even after buying from there store at the exit the sensors started beeping and they assumed and accused my daughter and my sister for stealing, they checked their shopping bag and made them open their personal bags and all the pockets on their bag. Never had this happen to my daughter and sister, this incident had them both shook and embarrassed. They pick and choose who they want to search, how can they profile only certain people to be checked. They were the only people of color there so I know this racially motivated because they were staring down my daughter and my sister the moment they entered that store

I went there yesterday and the cashier girl wasn’t doing her job correctly. She was suppose to give me $38 for change but forgot the $20 so when i went back she treated me as a thief.but later when she knew it was her fault she didn’t even say sorry and only handed me the $20.you guys need to do a better job with customer service and have some manners.

Terrible experience. I do not recommend the store. The return policy does not include the devolution of your money. Also the cashiers were dressed indecently

I live in Austin but travel to California for work. Naturally traveling I didn’t pack enough and needed to quickly grab a few things I knew would fit. All the girls were smiling lovely and willing to help. Very beautiful location even compared to the Austin brandy Melville

Employees were incredibly rude even for a brandy.laughing on their phones behind the register, and when i went up to pay, they argued loudly about who has to check me out, groaning.talking to customers in a condescending voice, telling people about the refund policy with a really cringy undertone as if to call them too fat for their clothes.yikes

also body shamed me personally and looking me up and down, staring as i was browsing.the vibes were off and even i could tell as a white skinny girl

So rude they ruined my birthday and accused me of stealing. They set up a alarm on me and my friend and found absolutely nothing. Being the only Asian girls in the store I felt as thought this was racially motivated. All the workers are rude and they gossip about you. And this was just a terrible experience never coming back.

Workers were very kind and helpful, but the store had no jeans in stock. The only reason I went was for jeans, so I am extremely disappointed.

Every single time I go there the women are so rude. Not a smile or anything. I get they probably don’t wanna be there especially during summer. But honestly it’s disgusting how every time I come it’s always the same. Truly disappointing. Get a new staff.

Absolutely the best brandy experience ive ever had.the employee working here Nat was AMAZING and so kind/informative! Usually the vibes are off at brandy, especially as a person of color on the curvier side (if you know you know), so being greeted and treated so nicely by everyone there, especially Nat, was a fresh breath of air.my girlfriend was here from out of town and was also treated wonderfully by the staff.thank you americana brandy for the great shopping experience!

Extremely sad and unbelievable. Contacted Corporate office, no response.

Clothes are cute, yesterday blonde fitting room lady was really rude when I handed her the clothes I didn’t want she just snatched it from me and gave me a look. Overall other employees are nice and it’s such a pretty shopping center

The employees sadly are not welcoming.plus you can't tell who workers there b/c no one has a name badge on. One employee wasn't knowledgeable on what they had on the floor. I'll shop online next time
