I don't really consider this place a fine French restaurant. That said the Steak and frites were very good. It's way more casual than I thought it would be which worked for us. Our Servicer was very nice and friendly. We eat lunch out on their quaint patio which was ideal for a warm fall day. Reasonable price for a nice Steak. I'll repeat.

My friends and I stopped in for dinner before a show. We were seated right away but our experience went downhill from there. We waited nearly 10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. We asked a staff member walking by if we would be helped soon. With a short tone, she responded that someone would be with us, they were taking someone else's order and then walked away. In my opinion the best thing to do would have been to at least offer to bring us water while we wait. Mind you, there were only 2-3 other tables with people to serve so not a very busy time. The lady who was apparently supposed to help us then walked by, again without acknowledgment. Not an "I'll be right with you" or anything. We decided to get up and leave and made a comment to the bartender that the customer services is horrible, not to mention for a place where you're obviously planning to splurge a bit for the experience. Later that evening, we happened to run into someone who had been served while we were there. She commended us for leaving and said that the waitress made a comment to her table that "she didn't want to serve us anyway". CLEARLY, and their lack of customer service reflected that. To then say something to other existing customers only speaks to the clear lack of professionalism of this particular server. Pity, since the atmosphere and food seemed beyind enjoyable, that the experience with the staff didn't allow us to get that far. We ended up across the way at Mayahuel where our experience all around was superb.

Good mussels and seafood. Better make reservations. Very convenient location in the heart of downtown with nearby public parking. Big dinner room sometimes not as loud as the small dining rooms.

I was looking forward to eating at this place for my bday, unfortunately is was so not worth the price and over rated. Asked for medium rare steak which is like $50. It came out medium and fries were not crispy. Friend got the duck which was alright however it was very salty and the gnocchi was hard, not soft and fluffy. The meats and cheese plates were so disappointing. I’ve had way better at good ol block butcher bar. Sigh.

Just left this place. No wonder it’s-was hating it empty. Service was subpar but the food was even worse. Unseasoned, French onion, soup, hard, breakfast, potatoes, and a runny quiche. Our server Jeremy could see we didn’t like our food because we couldn’t even finish it and immediately ask for the check within seven minutes of receiving our food. He didn’t even inquire why we were unhappy. We just paid and left will never go back. This is the worst Food I’ve ever paid for in my entire life and definitely not worth a $72 that we spent for two. Trash.

What a fun spot. Ari behind the bar was charming and makes great cocktails. The Sazarac was fire! Great food done in the classic French style. We will be back for sure.

Excellent food, great wine list, great service, reasonably priced. Plan on going back on our return trip home.

Food is good although I like my food temperature hot. Presentation is good and portions were ok. The onion soup was mostly bread with little broth. I prefer my deviled eggs on the colder side rather than warm. Chef was accommodating. I ordered the salmon Benedict with the English muffins on the side. That was delicious. Service was attentive. The downside was the French scramble eggs. It was hard scrambled instead.

Highly recommend! Fantastic food and service with Euro feel. Mini vacation for lunch or dinner. Perfect for romantic, friends or business meal. Make it your favorite place to get away!

I felt rushed. Ordered a cocktail and within minutes of it arriving our dinner was there! They mixed up our steaks and when I got a to-go box they put the steak in, not my French fries nor the mushroom sauce that came with the steak. For the price I wouldn’t go back. We were in and out in barely over an hour.

Oh boy. Where to begin. I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while now. My husband wanted to go out to a nice dinner, so I made reservations. We got to the restaurant. Someone greeted us immediately, which was nice. They sat us down. As we sat there.we realized they were playing diner music. I feel like that's a big no-no for the prices they are charging. I'd prefer zero music! We were brought water promptly. But then we hear obnoxious clinking to look over and see one of the servicers eating at the bar. There was an interesting character at the bar as well. Honestly.we looked at each other. I asked if he wanted to leave, and immediately said yes! We left. Guess I won't be trying this place out. If you are going to act as a diner.don't charge 40 dollars for a chicken plate and upwards of 50 for steak. Environment was not inviting.

I loved the atmosphere of the place so much. So romantic and the live music was wonderful. Overall this may be my favorite restaurant in Sac. The food was also amazing and our server was lovely. Thank you so much. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful date and plan on coming back.

Last minute stop before attending an event at the Capitol. Delightful menu and great service!

Went for Weds lunch. We were a bit concerned as the surrounding restaurants were quite full, but this place was almost empty. Great wait staff. Ordered the steak frites; excellent frites, but the $36 steak was very tough (when I got home, my dog thoroughly enjoyed it). Mentioned it to the wait staff, with no compensation! A well-run restaurant would have stood behind their product and at least comp my glass of wine! The other food ordered was excellent, Nicoise salad.
As there are so many other good dining options in Sac, I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends.
