Breakers Stereo and Performance, Oxnard CA

I took in my brand new grand highlander hybrid to breakers to upgrade the sound system as it came with Toyota’s stock sound system. It was a must to have the sound system upgraded as my daughter who is special needs loves music and she loves it loud, and this is her transport vehicle. However, I was hesitant to take it in as I’ve had bad experiences with other shops. I expressed my concerns and my needs to Josh and team, they quickly brainstormed a solution. They went over it with me to ensure I was comfortable with their idea. I approved and prayed for the best outcome. Once installed my husband picked up the vehicle, parked it in our drive way, brought my daughter out and sat her in the vehicle seat and turned on the sound system. She started rocking out with a huge smile on her face, that was the seal of approval. The sound system is perfect! The install was seamless, there is not evidence that my vehicle has an amazing sound system, just how I wanted it to be. The boombox was custom made to fit in a special spot in the vehicle where it wouldn’t interfere with the my daughters wheelchair and/or any other large item that needs to be loaded in. It is amazing! If you know a small amount about cars and or can replicate what is being done in a diy video you're better off doing it yourself. Save your money. Don't go here for overpriced 3rd party prices and go to an actual small shop where the owner turns a wrench.

Recently had a spoiler and a back up camera installed on my sons 2015 BMW 320. Spoiler went on with no issues and looks great. While we were there Josh and Jahsmine helped us order a back up camera for the car which included apple play. The camera with apple play were installed quickly and professionally. Jahsmine’s knowledge of the system helped as she walked my son through the setup which made everything much easier. Highly recommend the team at Breakers. Thanks again!

Have had 4 different sub installs at Breakers now and I wouldn’t go any other place. Just recently had my 335 get a 12 inch Alpine installed by Mason and he did phenomenal work. The owner is super nice and cool and was talking to me about his 335 back in the day and kept me in the loop on all the work being done. They only charged me for a couple hours of work when it took them all day which is awesome, they didn’t adjust the labor charge or anything. As well as the lifetime warranty on labor I can take it back anytime if there are any issues. Love this place, I recommend to everyone.

Breakers did a fine job at installing my lowering kit in my truck as well as the tint for all 4 windows, one thing though that happened multiple times was when i bought ordered rims from them they didnt tighten the lug nuts to torque mutiple times, i mentioned this issue before my installation with my lowering kit was about to be done, they said apologized and i was hoping this issue didn't happen again, when they were finished with the lowering kit i was happy about the work, they didnt grease the joints i had to do that myself nor did they fix the lug nut torque issue once again, i had 2 lug nuts on each wheel on the front snap off because they tightened it so hard without a torque spec, i just would like for them to fix this issue whenever they are talking business about tires, they should ask every customer " do you know the torque spec for the lugs? " That is all but overall the people are really friendly and helpful
