It was my 1st time visiting Breakfast Republic and the food was incredible! I ordered the Cluck Madame and the flavor of the Béchamel sauce was so good. The green sauce garnish (don’t know what is called) is a great touch. I also loved how “clean” my plate looked when it came out. The home fries were not greasy or messy. They actually had a bit of a crispness to them which is something I prefer. In regard to service, it was okay. When we walked up there wasn’t a host to greet us and we weren’t sure if it was seat yourself. There also seemed to be one server on duty that was covering all the tables inside and outside. It made getting our drinks and the check slow.

French toast sampler is enough for 3-4 non-Americans to share. Shrimp and grits were also great

This place is super cute, they have plenty of seating inside and outside. The waiter attended us fast and was very attentive with everything. The food also came out in a timely manner and it was delicious, everything had flavor and was very fresh. We enjoyed our brunch here.

This is my second time here and I enjoyed the experience. It is a fun neighborhood restaurant near the start of downtown Culver City.

The food isn’t anything spectacular, it is solidly good. They price it as such and is an adequate eating experience. They have some fun unique items (such as ube latte) scattered throughout the menu, and have picture worthy presentation for some items.

They definitely focus more on the environment here. It is a lively spot and attracts groups of people looking for a fun brunch. They do a good job catering to this, offering mimosas and providing indoor and outdoor seating to both large and small groups.

Overall, a fun restaurant worth visiting every so often.

The food was tasty and a lot, but a bit expensive. Service could have been better they could have checked in on me more often. Atmosphere is great.

I decided to try this place out on a whim & I’m glad I did. The staff is friendly and fast. The food is delicious and I love the array of drink options. Their Nitro Cold Brew is served over coffee ice cubes, which is a magical touch of perfection. They also have an immune booster shot that is delicious and adds a pep to my day. If you’re in the Culver area, you’d be missing out if you didn’t give them a visit.

This restaurant recently opened. The food was decent, but I was expecting better for a new restaurant. We went for lunch, but ordered breakfast. The taste was fine, but my potatoes were dry, eggs were a little undercooked, and sour dough toast was cold. Price was pretty high ($16.95) for breakfast.

Ordered for take out and was told to pick up in 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and waited patiently for the woman at the bar to make my drink. When my drink was done I requested a ketchup. The woman responded “GIVE ME SOME TIME”.

I waited for 10 minutes. At this point the food is cold. Wasn’t asked to pay. Wasn’t asked what I needed. I had to ask a waiter for the manager whom I then had to find because the manager didn’t come for another 5 minutes.

I almost walked off with the food I was so offended. The manager didn’t offer a discount or anything so I decided to leave the food and go.

I am a nurse and will not be eating this shift… thanks for the great service.

Amazing food, and big portions too for a good price. Love the big vegan section of the menu too and tastes delicious

Every dish was bad! OMG dry small and bland. Ordered three different breakfasts for our family. WAS excited to try. Tried them all…What a terrible let down, I didn't even eat my dish (jalapeño omelette) my husband and his mom will eat anything so they just dealt with it. PS you have to pay for maple syrup pissed…waste of money.

I have mixed feelings. The Eggs Benedict and French toast were really good, but my friends omelet was terrible, and we both had potatoes which were mediocre and not fresh. Also had fresh OJ which, which tasted only okay, maybe it was squeezed a day or two before or maybe they weren't quality oranges. They also forgot the bacon on the French toast (it was the Presley). Overall not the experience I would expect from a place that charges two people $70 for everything mentioned (tip included). Having said that, there were some really good menu items, they just need a little more quality control to be consistent. And the people there are all very nice.

The food is no more than “ok”. The service is ridiculous. Everyone seems to be sad working there. My husband was still chewing when the waitress came to take his plate away and a few minutes later they were literally standing by our table waiting for me to put the last piece of potato in my mouth to charge. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before. I tipped because I know they need that to survive, but they didn’t deserve a dollar for their service.

I grew up in San Diego, but moved to Los Angeles a number of years ago. I used to go to Breakfast Republic at many locations throughout San Diego since 2015 when they opened and every single time it’s consistently a delicious breakfast. This Culver City location was the same as the others in that it was also great. It was a taste of home. They have some really great options on the menu and they update it often. Service was really quick and she did a great job checking in on us.

When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes to sit down for a 10 AM Saturday breakfast but the wait was worth it. I ordered the Cluck Madame and added avocado, which is one of my favorite Eggs Benedicts that I have ever had. I also ordered a side of Jurassic Pork and a Bacon Cheddar Sausage. The only issue I had was that my eggs were cooked too much so they were almost poached hard. They were not runny at all sadly but still it was very tasty. We topped off the meal with a Salted Caramel Latte and it too had great flavors.

I think it’s one of the better breakfasts in Los Angeles, and I would highly recommend to anyone. I definitely will be back.

The omelet was not good, it left little to be desired, the potatoes were dry and overdone. They would have tasted better with sautéed onions instead and peppers.

The mango mimosa was amazing

The French toast were the highlight of the experience for me.

Our 1st time there, to this refreshing breakfast spit, our waitress greeted us with a nice and warm smile. The place itself is well maintained. We ordered a breakfast burrito, the American with a coconut lemon pancake, and 3 buttermilk pancakes and a side of eggs. We drank waters, hot tea, and a Berry lemonade. The food was fresh, tasting, and tasty. They have merchandise you can. My mom bought the egg salt and pepper shakers. Nice cozy spot to eat.
