Great brew shop. They recently closed the West Sacramento location and they're in the process of updating the Folsom location. Always great service and a wide selection of products!

For a LHBS they are very well stocked and very competitive on pricing. All the staff I've met are friendly and helpful

Came here to swap out my c02 tanks. The gentleman that helped me was friendly and helpful. He also gave me some really good tips for my kegerator.

Gotta support the local homebrew shops. They have all the basics plus kits and it looks like c02 tank swaps.
FYI, they are now across the street from their old location.

First time home brewer, Owen was extremely helpful, I could tell he really enjoyed brewing, helping people and sharing his knowledge. So excited to try my first homebrew and will definitely be back for my second!

The have a very wide selection of yeasts for all sorts of brewing. I dont rember the name of the staff member that helped me today but he seemed very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had as well as providing tips on various brewing methods. (I'm attempting to brew wine with non traditional fruits).

The new location needs a bit of work but as I understand it they moved to the spot recently and are still in the process of getting setup. Despite the lack of flashy marketing the organization and neatness of the current setup still makes for a professional looking establishment.

Regarding price it all seems reasonable, obviously if you dig long enough on the internet inevitably you can find something for cheaper than a storefront but such is the nature of business. As their prices are fair I would rather support a local business and have access to the on hand expertise of the staff than relying on a faceless shipper.

The staff are amazing. Starting with bartenders to the guys in the back helping out with brewing supply. I made my first brew "Erick Red "and I could not have done it without the help of Brewmeiste staff.

My first review, nearly a year ago read "Helpful staff with a good inventory that covers most of the essentials for brewing". Since then, the main guy Kell has moved over to the brewery, and the remaining staff seems to never have a very clear idea about anything. I've had yeast orders get mixed up, been called that something I ordered is in only to find out it isn't and the person there has no idea that I even had an order placed, called ahead to find out if they have something in stock (I live an hour away from any brew shop, and this is the closest), been told they have it, immediately drive up only to find out they didn't, they just thought they did because there's random hardware pieces on the rack. The last time I went they didn't even have a carboy in stock. And that was the one thing I thought they would never run out of. I get they can't stock everything all the time, but I'm better off getting my yeast lost in the mail from an online supplier for a month (true story) than to drive up there again. Previously gave them 5 stars, but down to one until they turn it around.
