The food was great! It reminds me of the “izakayas” in Japan. I would definitely recommend the brio dip! The focaccia is crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside, and the dip is very creamy!
10/10 rating!

“Brio Brio Bakery & Café is, without a doubt, the best Japanese bakery in town. They offer an impressive variety of goods and pastries, each more delightful than the last. Their coffee is also quite good, pairing perfectly with the baked treats. The eating environment is clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. One thing I noticed was the strong smell of food, reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant, which might be overwhelming for some. Overall, a great place for anyone looking to enjoy quality Japanese baked goods.

Menu looked good, food looked great, but their chef made laughed at me when I asked for my To Go item in a box, he gave me the box and made me do it myself. The BLT was very sweet, undercooked bacon, the iced coffee didn't have the flavor that I paid extra for. Overall underwhelmed by service and food at the prices they have.

This is now my ultimate destination for catching up with friends, indulging in some alone time with a coffee and a good book, or simply getting work done. The food and coffee here are absolutely scrumptious, with just the right balance of sweetness. And let's not forget about the fantastic atmosphere that sets the perfect mood.

Located in a small strip mall off the 5 freeway, I love this Japanese bakery. I get their hot hojicha latte every time I go. My personal favorite items are the ricotta anpan and char siu sandwich. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their pastries and breads are fresh, and I suggest going in the morning as they run out fast.

Their cheesecake is fabulous, the closest thing to genuine New York cheesecake we've found in Southern California.

Miyuki and the other ladies are very friendly and efficient.

Our go-to coffee/pastry place in Orange County

I found out Bri Baru Japanese Izakaya style dining via Instagram, so I came and give it a try.

First I think the Izakaya-style needs to be noted…smaller portions (like Spanish tapa) but their food is not the traditional kind. I feel it’s a modern fusion (like Nakiryu in Tokyo), not like the very traditional Japanese Izakaya ones. And of course there are plenty of alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic ones.

The place is clean with Individual backless stool chairs on one side and long bench style seating on the other. Outdoor seating is available, beautifully decorated. It is a bakery from 8am-3pm and then Wed-Sun from 5-9pm becomes the Izakaya cafe.

We had Japanese fish (Aji/jack mackerel) & chips, wagyu dan dan udon noodles, half size premium beef Don and half Mt. Fuji Caesar Salad. My husband also had a wagyu beef taco, but I didn’t have any because it was a little spicy than my preference. All had that clean and flavor tastes, very good. The dan dan noodle description says spicy but it was not at all. I only wish they’d give me a spoon so I could have noodles with the the minced meat and creamy soup together.

It is not cheap because it is a place that focuses on high quality ingredients (quality > quantity). I would go back try other small dishes as well as their daytime menu.

Went for breakfast. Not much of a bakery maybe 6 items to choose from. As far as food goes, I ordered what I thought was safe since everything was Vietnamese, a BLT with an egg and a salad! Farthest thing from a BLT. How can you ruin a BLT? Not sure what the green stuff is but it’s not lettuce.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe for breakfast, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable morning.

One of the highlights of my visit was the BNHI Mi Chicken Sandwich I ordered. It was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The juicy chicken, accompanied by fresh vegetables and a delectable sauce, was sandwiched between a soft and crusty bun. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness that left me craving more.

To complement my meal, I decided to try their Hot Vanilla Latte. Let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The velvety smoothness of the vanilla combined with the perfect amount of steamed milk created a heavenly beverage that warmed both my hands and my soul. It was the ideal companion to my breakfast and added an extra touch of indulgence to the overall experience.

But that's not all! Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe surprised me with their Curry Buns. This unique twist on a classic side dish was a true revelation. It was a delightful departure from the ordinary and showcased the cafe's commitment to offering innovative and delicious options.

Beyond the delectable food and beverages, the service at Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They took the time to ensure that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable and that all my needs were met.

The cozy and inviting ambiance of the cafe provided the perfect setting for a relaxing breakfast. The charming decor, combined with the aroma of freshly baked goods, created an atmosphere that made me feel right at home. It was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Overall, my experience at Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. The BNHI Mi Chicken Sandwich, Hot Vanilla Latte, and Curry Buns were all outstanding in taste and presentation. The attentive service and cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. I highly recommend Brio Brio Bakery and Cafe to anyone in search of a delightful breakfast spot. It truly deserves a well-deserved five-star rating!

We will be back to try all of the sandwiches. This time, we enjoyed the Morning Sandwich, miso pulled pork salad, Salmon egg sandwich, pork sandwich, and matcha lattes. Their milk rolls were fluffy and fragrant. Had indoor and outdoor seating.

The hojicha latte $6 made me melt! It’s my favorite latte yet. I bought a shokupan $17 for a friend.
I love the large windows and the layout of the whole place. The service was incredibly kind and warm - they are a place with character! Thank you for the time I got to spend here studying! Cannot wait to come here again! This appears to be a favorite place for moms too which goes to show how cute this cafe is.

Food is delicious, but over-priced. They expect you to bus your own tables, and sometimes tables are left dirty by previous guests. Staff are friendly, but service is slow. Lots of interesting kinds of food, also overpriced. $5 cup of ice tea consists of mostly ice. Nice outdoor patio.

I work nearby, been looking for a place that matches what my coworkers need: this place is clean, premium, healthy, not too alcoholic, priced appropriately, and staffed well. We will be here every month as long as the owner permits. See you in September!

The chicken pesto, the tuna melt and the chicken pesto are great. The matcha latte and the hojicha latte are also great. The only downside is the strong smell of oil smoke in the store.

Used to love this place. Up until they discontinued my favorite breakfast item. They told me it's not on the menu anymore but if I want it I should order a main item and they can give it to me as +$ add-on item and modify it to what I need. I'm sorry, seriously? You got all the ingredients, and you even admit that you can still make it, but you can not just do it, I have to order something I don't need? I find it ridiculous, both from customer service and from common sense point. Disappointed, won't be back.
