Bakery Bristol Farms reviews
12This store is so nice. Anything you can't find somewhere else, you will probably find it here. The staff are so nice. Everything is very fresh.
They're hot and cold prepared food is outstanding and the pricing is very competitive compared to other markets in the area.
Their customer service however service and knowledge has gone down considerably in the past 10 years.
I came in about a week ago inquiring about Peter Luger steak sauce, I gave my name and number and the inquiry to one of their employees who cheerfully said I'd be contacted as of this day I have not however I did find the sauce at a better price online.
The indoor resturant was excellent
Great friendly service, nice verity and good prices
Outdoor Seating, Dog Friendly!
It’s been a while since I’ve been in a Bristol farms, I was in the mood for pizza unfortunately, I think this location stopped selling pizza? They did have a hot bar but the food did not look pleasing. The sushi looked ok and the fresh poke also, did not look good. I decided to grab a sando but those were overpriced, nothing special about them, they were pre-packaged an no one was at the sandwich station. After that experience I probably would not step into a Bristol Farms again. We shall see…
Always clean, good selection, fantastic food. The Mac n cheese they have in their hot bar sometimes and the brisket are amazing. Friendly staff.
Shopped in Bristol Farms today on Country Club. I was so disappointed in their bakery! I purchased an apple pie that I was intending on serving at a dinner party this evening. Thank God I noticed before serving it, that they put hard sugar crystals on top! No one bakes pies this way! Whoever is baking these pies needs to learn how to bake! I Will never shop there again. Best apple pies are still at Whole Foods.
I come here about once a week just to mix it in with my regular grocery shopping. They do have some great ready meals when you don't feel like cooking. I picked up the pork carnitas which were delicious and some broccoli salad because it was too hot to cook. Also, amazing freshly baked cookies. Another thing I always pick up here is a large jar of pickled beets. I love beets and the ones they carry are my favorites. They have a good meat and seafood section and fresh flowers along with some speciality items.
Bristol has an incredible variety of items that can be difficult to find in general, let alone in Coachella. But this is seriously one of the most expensive grocery stores that I’ve ever been to in my life, and often because of markup on items that seems to be a mark of the store rather than reflective of true cost; some items are more reasonable than others.
The parmesan rinds I purchased from this location left a strange residue in my pot that I have not experienced before while using rinds for the last year and am assuming is food wax. Very unpleasant, and strange that such an item was made available for sale.
I like to stop by for the whiskey selection. Pliney the elder, "The Cookie" and the quiche is amazing. Everybody else feels the same, because these products disappear on the regular! Everybody is friendly in the Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert location.
Update; "The Cookie has now added a peanut butter cookie".
Expensive and they charged me for an item that no one could figure out, yes, they returned the money. Such a hustle!
Updated opinion: used to rave about the poke bar. Add the cookie bar to the list of raves. Good stuff. Clean place. Also got a deal on organic berries today.
I used to love this store, could have been the time of day. Bakery was picked through ECT.
