This place is definitely the exception not the rule. Unbelievable cleanliness and wonderful staff

My parents have been living there since Sept 2021 and are very happy. They enjoy the activities and their new friends.
The administrators and staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind. It was definitely the right decision for all of us.

My mother moved into Brookdale about 3 years ago when my father died. She has been very happy with the decision. Her room is large, bright and clean. She loves the food and has her grandkids join her often. She keeps busy with all of the activities and does her shopping with her friends. The other residents are very friendly. She always has friends to eat and chat with. They look out for each other.
We all love the fact that the staff does not have turnover. Lynette does an amazing job overseeing all things. Sandra and Ted are always helpful and friendly. I feel a wise choice was made with Brookdale.

My mother has been at Brookdale in Torrance for over a year, and I can not recommend it highly enough. After living her entire life In Kentucky, she was worried about moving across the country. The staff welcomed her with open arms, and she is happier than I have seen her in many years. From the caring staff, to all the new friends she’s made, moving to Brookdale South Bay was a perfect decision.

My mother has lived in Brookdale Torrance for over six years. She enjoys her unit and is very happy with the staff that work there. All of the Brookdale staff have been very accommodating to her.

Worth every penny. The staff, grounds, interior and exterior are excellent. The staff is very attentive and experienced. I know that my parents are in good hands living there. My parents say its like being a cruise. The food is cooked in the kitchen on site, as opposed to being shipped in and reheated! Remember you get what you pay for!

I come to the Brookdale South Bay Senior Community 5 days a week. One of the residents has a dog that I walk daily. My own parents happen to live at a Senior Independent facility in Florida, so I am very aware of what to expect from these Communities. I have been so impressed with Brookdale. Everyone is greeted with a smile and acknowledged by name-residents and visitors. I have only seen caring and compassionate interactions from the staff. I would definitely look into Brookdale South Bay as an option if my parents were here in California. Super staff, clean and always lots of activity!

Only come to visit to see clients. Place is well clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and helpful.

My mom moved into Brookdale Southbay six years ago and she couldn’t be happier. From the staff at the front of house to kitchen and housekeeping staff, all are caring, friendly and top notch.

She has a lovely one bedroom apartment when she wants privacy but there’s often something going on to engage the residents. They have speakers and musicians come in to entertain, movie afternoons and evenings, games, puzzles, computer lessons, a beautiful library and days trips to museums, shopping, events or just to see the local scenery. Several religious groups have gatherings for prayer or study weekly.

I and my family travel frequently but are always assured that my mom is safe and being looked after by the wonderful staff at Brookdale.

My father is a resident at Brookdale and I could not be happier that he is there. His apartment is spacious, the food is delicious, and the staff is caring and considerate. He is safe and taken care of, but is still able to be independent. There are plenty of activities and fun things to do.

My mom has lived in the community for seven years now. She loves it! She has friends and activities that keep her occupied and happy. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to meet any request I have. They care about each of their residents, it’s evident in the ways they interact with them. They know my mom, and treat her like family, especially Lanette and Ted, but really everyone! It gives me and my siblings a great deal of peace.
