Brookside Golf & Country Club, Pasadena CA

Golf courses are in great shape. The pace of play has been quick during COVID-19. They are spending money on keeping the property nice. Keep up the great work!

First tee time out 5: 30! Nothing better than finishing 18 before 9: 30. The greens were amazing and rolling.

Really nice patio with views of the golf course. I had the appetizers, very good. Food is pretty consistently good here.

Great golf course with open fairways. The only downside is that all.of the holes are very similar in design and layout.

Don't play golf but walk around the outside of the course for my excerise.

An enjoyable public golf experience. Well groomed fairways and greens. Happy hour in the clubhouse was nice.

Our group had confirmed reservations at a players club rate. Everybody in the group was a member of the players club and we all had our membership cards. The Starter informed us that the golf course has implemented a new policy it was only if you had registered through Brookside that they would honor players club rates. So instead of honoring the rate that we had booked online they charged us 50% more, speaking to one of the employees after paying this we were told that there attendance is down almost 100,000 players from 2017. It’s unconscionable to think that someone would take reservations and then not honor the price simply because they had a policy change and didn’t bother informing their customers. I’ve played this course numerous times, sad to say this will be the last. My understanding is they have new management that in my opinion should be terminated. I don’t know how you can operate a business and expected to grow when you’re lying to your customers.

Greens were running nice, fairways were a bit dried up, but they just had a game the night prior which is probably why. The Koiner layout is nice, and can be a real challenge depending on the tees played.

Come here for an annual staff retreat. Parking is always hard for me, but the golf club is a nice place for a big staff meeting.

Went for a drive in the area. We didn't actually stop in but from what we were able to admire it looks like it is a great place to golf. It was well groomed and the environment was pleasing. The views were great and a pleasant surprise to have when golfing or enjoying a visit to the Country Club.

Our waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious, and sitting outside was so nice and quiet on a beautiful day.

We are Sunday brunch at the Brookside Golf Club. The food was excellent. We all agreed we would order our entrees again. But the service was slow & haphazard.

Course in not the best shape. For 60 bucks green fee it should be better. Greens and green surrounds are not in prime condition

Always fun, but, the course is beat up in some places and even when you make a good shot, it could wind up in a bad lie on the fairway, green, etc.

Our group had a Golf Tournament at Brookside - staff was very accommodating and professional. Had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant - the avacado toast was the best! (Darn: Not available that day for lunch.) the dinner/buffet and annual torunament was a big success.

An historic place for golf, lunch, or a great festival weekend.
Brookside has been serving Angelenos a great day for years. Friendly staffing, and cool drinks.

Came here for Father's day with couple of my friends. A decent course to have fun and socialize since it's not too challenging.

We visit every year to celebrate 4th of July with the family to barbeque, play games and have a good time watching the Rose Bowl fireworks after their event. It's a lot of fun and we get chance to see all the family that wants to attend. We bring a soccer ball, board games and/or volleyball at up to pass the time. It's as great place. We also bring our gas barbeque.

4th of July at Brookside has become a tradition. The fireworks are spectacular. You get set up an area to bbq. You are responsible for food & activities. They supply port a potties, which have no faucets. You are provided with hand sanatizer & toilet tissue.
