Brookside Park reviews
7Playground is close to parking. Cement walking path goes deeper in park with bench seating throughout tree shaded walk.
A great little park to come hang out with your friends and family. Great place to fly a kite.
There are a lot of nice spots to sit in the field with a good amount of trees for shade. They have the concrete benches. Always has been a nice park to be at. There is a public restroom here, too. And a grocery store is nearby, so it's a nice picnic spot:)
Small park.
Come sip a coffee for a few and be on your way.
Some one colored over the W and O for the women's rest room so this place e appears to have two male restrooms.
Be careful.
Great park, lots of grassy area and a shaded playground area with a smaller kid play structure that my toddler enjoys and a bigger kid one as well. There is a toddler sized ‘house’ area and steering wheel toy that is only really reachable by kids who are about 3 feet tall and up. A spinning structure that many kids can ride on if someone spins it, and a small single kid spinning toy. It only has a few benches so you may not be able to get one if it is crowded. It has wood chips on the ground and is generally clean and safe feeling.
Great little park. Family and pet friendly. Playground, picnic tables, small BBQs, & public restrooms. Recently they are making huge improvements/strides towards organized, outdoor sports.
After visiting half a dozen parks in the area, over several days, Brookside Park was by far the most enjoyable. My two-year old had a blast, and he was excited to immediately make friends and have someone to play with. I felt safe to be there, and I could tell several families were comfortable to be there too. This will definitely be our stop when visiting!
