Brother Benno's Thrift Shop reviews
12Dissapointed that they are going to stop having 75% almost everything. Still a great store though.
Brother Benno's is great! They have a full room of furniture at great prices. They deliver within Oceanside for only $35 (nearby communities cost a little more). Everyone was nice and delivery was same day. I highly recommend them.
Note that donation hours are different than the store hours.
Here are the donation hours as of 6/2/2021:
10-2 Tues, Thurs, & Sats only
I LOVE THIS STORE PERIOD. THE HAVE GREAT SALE DAYS. 50 TO 75%OFF YOU CANT BEAT THAT. THEY HAVE 25 CENT BINS WITH PERFECTLY GOOD CLOTHING FOR CHILDREN. THEY HAVE NICE TOYS AND GREAT SELECTION OF PURSES. YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING. GREAT STAFF AS WELL. NEED MORE STORES LIKE THIS
Favorite thrifstore by now, in my week N. 2 of Thrifstores Tour between Nevada, Arizona, and California
Highly Recomended n.n
Very nice thrift shop. Covid compliant, dollar grab bags and different discounts daily. Busy store, so high merchandise turnover.
If you enjoyed my review please hit the like button and consider following me. I sell frozen steak, seafood and chicken from a truck and hit every dive bar and greasy spoon but also try to mix in some variety.
Brother Benos has been serving North San Diego's poor and indigent community for decades. They fund their outreach by operating several thrift stores in the area. This location is located in the Mission shopping center a few doors down from Albertsons. The lot is spacious with an abundance of parking, it is also clean and well lit in the evenings and the Oceanside Police Department has a satellite office in the strip mall so it is very safe.
While Brother Benos serves the poor the general population of Oceanside is well to do. This location is a gold mine of quality name brand merchandise at a remarkable discount. In the pants section I saw tags by: Lucky brand, guess, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levis. They also have a nice selection of housewares and furniture. Overall the merchandise is of greater quality than you would find new at Big Lots, and the prices are much lower. You can shop and not only save $$$, you know your money is helping those who truly need it. Consider doing some Christmas shopping here. Happy Holliday!
I love brother benno's not only are they help to the community specially people that are coming from abuse situations or maybe they're trying to get clean off drugs brother benno's help the variety of different people and situations but they also have a thrift store that has Furniture close eating everything you possibly need in there and they're clean and and their prices are very reasonable and it's one of my favorite places to go I believe they're open Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday from 11 to 5 so I'll get there early and have fun shopping
Waaay overpriced for the only TWO things I found. $12 for a pair of altered pants. No thanks. Everyone is getting greedy these days, not just Goodwill! Truly though, very few people in there and I see why. The selection is just not there (unless you like Walmart, Target and Lane Bryant sort of stuff).
Last Saturday of the month 1/2 off. Me and Grandpa make it there almost every month. We have a great time and enjoy all there.
I like visiting this thrift shop. The prices are really good. The staff are nice and helpful. But of course, you will never know what you can find.
Overpriced and employees are often unfriendly. I want to shop there because I like their service to the community but it has been unpleasant for the last few years. I am writing because I hope 2019 be a fresh new start and change for the better
